MrRant Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 Yesterday while going to various places to return/exchange some gifts I noticed some oddities. #1 - I literally saw 3 different stands of people selling Krispy Creme donuts. Now... I love Krispy Creme donuts but why are these people selling them at a stand like their oranges? I will also mention all 3 stand "owners" were white. So now we have whites selling donuts, Mexicans selling oranges... etc. #2 - Korner Kar Kompany. Reason I bring this up is that I saw a car with a license frame holder with this. I thought I would drive by the place to see if it was like that due to the last name or something... or possibly a German dealership. NOPE. Logo on the sign had the K's highlited. #3 - As I was driving down the freeway I saw a car with a blown out tire. No biggie until I saw the guy slug his wive/gf/ho in my rearview mirror. #4 - Watched a Jeep Cherokee roll across the South bound lanes of I-5. Luckily I was North bound. I saw all this in about a 2 hour time frame. Good times.
DerangedHermit Posted December 29, 2003 Report Posted December 29, 2003 The most interesting thing I saw while in a car was on the way back from Albany. We were at the Throg's Neck approach, and in the lane next to us...there was a big truck with caged chickens which were clearly visible. Feathers were flying all over the place. Add to the fact that it was 90 degrees, and hella humid...luckily, the car I was in had A/C.
