For those that aren't aware, the "new" Bon Jovi CD is a re-working of classics hits. It's mostly acoustic/piano based and really slowed down. Besides the awful new version of "Bad Medicine" it's a great CD - especially the new version of "It's My life". I got the CD with the free DVD as well. Any Bon Jovi fans out there?

I like Bon Jovi, but I wouldn't buy this CD. I hate when bands re-mix their songs. I hated the way they re-did "Livin' On A Prayer" on their Cross Road greatest hits so probably wouldn't like this.

 

I hate bands doing these albums. Leave the remix to rap guys and pop stars. If they feel the need to "re-mix" then put a live album out at the end of every tour since songs come off different every night live.

I loved the new version of Living on a Prayer.

I liked the new version of Livin' on a Pryaer, although it really isn't that different from the last "new" version of Livin' on a Prayer, from Cross Road. Plus I don't see how having Olivia D'abo sing on it adds anything to it.

I'm a pretty big Bon Jovi fan, and I plan to buy this CD as soon as I'm able. I sampled some of the songs on Amazon and I'm not sure if I'll absolutely love the album or not, but I tend to dig acoustic versions of songs so I imagine I'll at least like it quite a bit. I really liked what I got to hear of It's My Life that I heard.
