I just read through the predictions and some of the other posts. All I can say is wow.

Wow in a, "That's retarded" kind of way or Wow in a "I'm gullible" kind of way?

Yeah. I think it's more of a, "If you make enough vague predictions, sooner or later they'll fit with stuff." kind of scenario.

Well I'm not going to pull on my skeptics hat straightaway. Thus far you are dismissing him because of ONE Star Trek reference.

I'm not saying he is the real deal, but if it is a hoax, a scary amount of thought has been put into it.

True. I am dismissing him pretty easily. I dunno, usually I'm pretty open to weird stuff. There's just something that screams "fakery" to me about this one.

You shouldn't put too much stock in the mad cow stuff. Am I wrong in saying that around the time this guy was posting on the net, there was a pretty big outbreak of it in Europe or somewhere like that? If I remember correctly, it was one of the main big news items back then.

I'm not dismissing him, I'm just saying that you can't base anything just on that one thing.

This is a hoax. This guy probably had WAY TOO MUCH damn time in his hands and made this elaborate hoax, that by coincidence......had the mad cow thing in it.

Scary though about the stories.....Civil War, 3 billion dead, etc...

Yeah you are right about the Mad Cow outbreak in Europe. And believe me I'm not basing my opinion on purely the Mad Cow stuff. It's just an eerie conincidence. I guess we'll know by the end of this year whether or not it was a hoax which I suspect it is, just a brilliantly well crafted one.

Like I've said, it's simply a pretty good read just for the hell of it. I've read it all, and I was entertained.

I highly suggest you all go to the original source for most of his postings. I went there and read it all over again, just so I could see what people said to him in their replies.

What board is that on?

George's Time Travel Report

George Noory gave a report on Monday's show about the recent "time travel" experiment he underwent just after Christmas. He described the experience as being more akin to hypnosis or remote viewing rather than any kind of physical travel.

In the experiment which was conducted by Dr. Irving Glotch, George was induced into a type of trance state, by wearing a helmet that was outfitted with revolving eye goggles. Additionally, he said sound vibrations were played in his ear and he was touched with a pulse generator at the back of his neck.

George said his first target, "The Dark Ages," did not yield significant mental imagery or information. However he considered his second objective, "Roswell, July 1947" to be a success. "This one was weird," said George. He viewed a hospital that was staffed by nuns, and saw a glowing object, which he described as similar to the Kecksburg UFO (acorn-shaped). While this was not the Roswell incident George expected to see, in subsequent research he conducted after the experiment, he discovered there was a Catholic Hospital in the Roswell area at that time, and there had been a UFO sighting there. George added that he felt "mentally drained" by the experiment and it took him a couple of days to recover.
