JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted January 12, 2004 The following are the only WWF PPV's left that I have not seen. I was hoping people could reply to give me thumbs up or down or in the middle to the shows and tell me which ones I should bother finding on ebay or wherever. They are: Royal Rumble 1989 Survivor Series 1989 Royal Rumble 1990 Royal Rumble 1991 In Your House 4 and 5 (thought I have seen the Winter Combat tape that has matches from each show.) WWF IYH July 1996 - International Incident WWF Bad Blood 1997 (But I've seen Taker/HBK HIAC) WWF D-Generation X, December 1997 So whaddya think? Thanks! Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted January 12, 2004 Royal Rumble 1989 has a mediocre under-card, but the Rumble's pretty good until the end. Survivor Series 1989 is mediocre. Nothing great, nothing bad. Royal Rumble 1990 is pretty good. Royal Rumble 1991 has the awesome tag opener and decent rumble. IYH 4 sucks IYH 5 sucks (Bret/Bulldog only match I remember being good) International Incident has a good main event, the rest is bleh. Bad Blood sucks minus HIAC and Flag Tag Match IYH-DX sucked. Virgil vs Dibiase,Big Bossman vs Mountie and the 6 man tag are all good, the Legion of Doom match is good for historical reasons and the Jailhouse angle rules. It's one of the best wwf ppvs ever in my opinion. The only heels I think that won are Natural Disastors (over the FREAKIN Bushwackers lol) and IRS (early put-over veteran match). I haven't seen the show in years but I remember... Bulldog/steamer/Tornado won opener. Bret won IC LOD won Tag Boss Man won Jailhouse Hogan/Warrior won Main Event Virgil won M$T
Papacita 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2004 The International Incident main event is gold just for the fan run-in. When did I miss this? I mean when did it happen, because I never noticed. When Vader has HBK in the chinlock/chokehold thing, some fan hops out of the crowd and starts climbing the ropes. Bulldog, Owen and Ahmed all rush him and he hops down. It's pretty funny.
