Perfxion 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2004 Depending on the area, a little more, the same, little less. Mostly decent apartments in Stamford go for 1500 a month. Great ones go for 2300 a month. Fairfield county is in the top three areas in the country with the most million dollar homes. The same problem in CA(land value) is here in Conn. I think Dames is going to Hartford Country, or Willamantic, it is MUCH cheaper the live there than down here. With savings of 200 or 300 a month on apartments. Best thing to do in CT is to BINK. Meanig Build Income, NO kids. It is the only way to save the money. Midttown and South down to battery park gets REALLY up there. Depending on where in the Bronx he lived(not all is like rap and NYPD blue makes it) he will be spending about the same. Only thing is that the only close professional Team is the Connecticut Sun of the WNBA. But the plus is that he isn't that far from UConn. So he could watch Uconn on TV.(tickets for ALL games sell out before the season starts)
Guest Agent of Oblivion Report post Posted January 13, 2004 Mostly decent apartments in Stamford go for 1500 a month That's just absurd. That's 18 THOUSAND dollars a year, just on rent. That can make you a homeowner, of a fairly nice place, in less than 10 years almost anywhere else in the country.
