The One and Only NFL Conference Playoffs Thread

I hate the Pats offense in the fourth quarter with a lead. It is just sad.

It's just pathetic and now they have given the Colts every chance to come back and win this game, defining Peyton Manning as a comeback kid.

Great play by that linebacker for the Colts though, batting that ball.

Damn. If the Colts D had played like this at any point earlier in the game, they might be winning this thing.

No shit. The Pats defense is going to have to come up huge here. Something they are certainly capable of.

Five yards and if anything the ref would have called Pollard for the push off.

If Pollard didn't push, that flag comes.

Granted, I don't like the call even as a Pats fan but they haven't called anything against anyone tonight so I can't see anything to talk about.

Plus, it was a bad pass by Manning.

I want Charlie Weiss to never be allowed to call plays with the offense ahead. EVER.

It still stops the clock so it still gives the Colts big life.

Obviously down, bring on Adam to try the FG.

The sad thing is that the Patriots will be alot better next year since they're going into the draft with 4 picks in the first 2 rounds and they'll be $15mill under the cap. They also get back Roosevelt Colvin.

I doubt with the schedule they have that they'll match what they've done thus far this year but if they can make it into the playoffs relatively injury free next season...be afraid.

I just want to say, hats off to the Colts. You know, their defense got no credit coming into this game and they did an outstanding job.

Manning struggled but the cold had a little to do with it.

Congrats to them on a fine season.

Peyton's performance today reminded me of Kerry Collins from a couple years ago. Collins torched a weak Minnesota defense, and everyone was saying "maybe he's not a bad QB after all", then he played a real defense, and you know how that ended

WOW, how terrible were these refs on Non-Pass Interference calls.

Last I checked you cant grab a handful of jersey past 5 yards....

or jam a reciever 12 yards downfield while the ball is in the air.

Horrible.

The Indi recievers were pushing off just as much as the guys covering them were grabbing so I think the refs did the right thing by no-calling. I thought there were a couple of calls that should have gone to the Pats in that manner for their recievers but it was basically the same on both sides...recievers pushing off and Coverage guys grabbing.

Guest Smell the ratings!!!

Eagles - 19

Panthers - 17

personally, I liked that the refs in the first game let the DB's and recievers knock eachother. I'm sick of 4th quarters having a 3 pass interference call minimum.
