Slayer Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Manning is doing his damndest to give his punter another week off He's doing his damndest to ensure his punter goes into the offseason nice and refreshed
2GOLD Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 This is what NE needs to do, work slow and let the defense work on the Colts offense. Just eat down the clock, force turnovers and wear down the Colts defense while keeping the New England defense fresh. Man...they are looking good. But it's VERY early.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 I didnt wanna see the Colts win so this is good.
2GOLD Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Brady should have ran there, he could have made it standing up. Still, 3 points is 3 points Just keep working the ball and if they can force another turnover here, that would be very good. Very early though.
sfaJack Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 I didnt wanna see the Colts win so this is good. Why not, out of curiosity? The Baltimore/history thing?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 I didnt wanna see the Colts win so this is good. Why not, out of curiosity? The Baltimore/history thing? something like that, yeah..
Guest FrigidSoul Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Brady should have ran there, he could have made it standing up. I thought that at first too, but then I remembered that Brady's knee is kinda fucked up and they probably don't want to take any unessecary risks.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Man, this is stupid. Manning could be killing them but he's flustered. The Pats offense is playing immaculately. and I hate it.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 I wonder if he remembers how to punt
MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 I guess not. 2 points. 15-0 and he still doesnt have a punt
Guest FrigidSoul Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 I guess the team doesn't remember how to properly punt He still hasn't punted the ball this post-season!!!
2GOLD Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Hunter Smith wants to be a running back, not a punter.
Downhome Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 I don't really care about either one of these teams, and I'm loving this so far. I wish this was the Panthers doing this to the Eagles though.

MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 This game is pretty much over. Its ashame you got to wait 2 1/2 hours for the Eagles/Panthers.
Slayer Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Hunter Smith wants to be a running back, not a punter. "I'm a runningback trapped in a punter's body"
kkktookmybabyaway Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Funny, with all the jokes about Hunter Smith remembering how to punt, it turns out the long snapper needed the quick lesson...
2GOLD Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 This game is nowhere NEAR over, the Colts offense is still very good and even if NE scores, that's only 22 points. And CBS has SUCKED at playoff coverage with cameras this year.
sfaJack Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 And CBS has SUCKED at playoff coverage with cameras this year. Yeah, but they're still not as awful as Fox using that "skycam" (or whatever it is) to show LIVE ACTION. You can't see a damn thing with that angle. It'd be fine for replays, but live action...no.
Cartman Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Game Over my ass... Keep watching people.

Defense is good, but that's asking a lot if the Pats offense starts screwing up. I think it would be funny, but it won't happen.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 That'll teach them to take the football from us, ours again
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 This is sickening. Its as though the Patriots use voodoo and make the teams they play make uncharacteristic mistakes.
2GOLD Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Does Peyton have any other reaction than "Oh gee golly wiz"? It's interesting but I don't see how he pumps up anyone like this. Halftime NE 15 IN 0 That was a great job by the Pats defense and you can beat the ole ball coach sees things that can be improved.
Guest The Winter Of My Discontent Posted January 18, 2004 Report Posted January 18, 2004 Wow. Marvin Harrison never fumbles. Exactly. And 2 ints? Fuck off. But they were his mistakes instead of one's the Pats created.
