Renegade 0 Report post Posted January 16, 2004 I gave my computer a routine norton virus scan when after scanning about 1mb the scan window just vanished without a trace, as if I actually closed the program. Eclipse 0 Report post Posted January 17, 2004 Yes, it is a virus. You actually have the same virus that I had. Rant remembers that thread I made. I scanned my system in safe mode, and that took out the virus. The virus you have prevents you from doing anything antiviral during regular system boot up. It closes all AV software, and even prevents you from editing the registry. Just make sure you have the latest definitions and scan in safe mode. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
