No Way Out was great. I think more then a few here disliked No Way Out,I don't think it was bad.

Jeff/Y2J, and Matt/Kidman was good. Team Angle/Beniot/Lesnar was great.Taker/Show was decent and Kane/RVD/Lance/Regal wasn't bad.

Austin/Eric,Rock/Hogan,Steiner/HHH sucked though.

Why do so many people consider this ppv bad? Yeah the 3 last matches sucked but 5 others didn't.

No Way Out > Backlash

When I watched Team Angle/Los Guerreros I thought It was so boring.I only watched it once though.

Sean/Kish,Rock/Goldberg,Show/Rey,6 Man,Kane/RVD/Dudleyz sucked.

I liked Trish/Jazz.Brock/Cena is fair.

How is Backlash better then No Way Out?

I haven't seen JD or Bad Blood so no comment on those.

I figured this thread will turn into a worst ppv's of the year thread.

Judgment Day, Unforgiven, No Mercy & Armageddon were all worse than Backlash & Bad Blood!

How is Backlash better then No Way Out?

Simple. Jericho/Hardy was decent, Taker/Show was good, everything else(including the handicap match) sucked IMO.

Backlash had a good tag match, a good Trish/Jazz math and 2 other watchable(not good) matches in Brock/Cena and the 6 man.

Backlash had a good tag match, a good Trish/Jazz math and 2 other watchable(not good) matches in Brock/Cena and the 6 man.

Los Guerreros/Team Angle wasn't any good ,I agree Jazz/Trish was good and 6 man sucked IMO.

Backlash had 1 good match. NWO had 4.

Angle/Shelton/Haas/Beniot/Brock was better then any match on the Backlash card.

6 man sucked. Sloppy and Boring.Even Shawn and Y2J didn't look good in the match. "kick-punch-clothesline-chops-suplex-more punches" , The match was bad.

Everytime HHH came in he did the usual punch and got out.

Flair came in and worked on( I think) Booker T leg but after that he no sells and does his usual kicks.

Nash ofcourse punched, got countered, more punches, sidewalk slam and got out.

Booker T did his usual ugly kicks and chops. He didn't stay in long.

Shawn chop, kick, worked HHH arm using elbow and a arm stretch. Then drop kick and he was out again.

Jericho came in and worked with Booker T I believe. Jericho got him in the walls and did what the other's did(punch-chop-kick).

Brock/Cena had 10 minutes of chinlocks, about 5 minutes of outside brawling, about 3 minutes of sleepers, and the usual Suplex,Belly Belly and Shoulder Tackle. It wasn't bad it was fair.

Plus NWO had a better ending and crowd.

Better ending? Better crowd I'll agree with.

Los Guerrero's/WGTTP was better than anything on the NWO card. The handicap match was so overdone and made Team Angle look so weak.

Only "good" match at NWO was Show/Taker.

I never said the 6 man was good, I said it was watchable. Trish/Jazz and Brock/Cena were also watchable.

Plus Rock/Goldberg(no matter how bad) >>> Steiner/HHH, Austin/Bisch & Rock/Hogan COMBINED.

Backlash >>> NWO

I agree. The way the crowd acter after Goldberg won was awful. They just booed Goldberg, and chanted "Goldberg sucks!" I think the commentators said something like, these people are standing. I don't think they mentioned the boos until The Peepster informed us the next night on RAW. That then led to the Night of the Reconstruction of the Goldberg Character, when Goldberg speared Rosey through the barricade and got some rubs by Booker T.

Oh yeah, I thought Guerreros/WGTT was good, but Backlash still sucked.

Better ending?

So you think Backlash had the better ending, right?

Los Guerrero's/WGTTP was better than anything on the NWO card.

I disagree.

How many times have you watched No Way Out? I'm gona watch TA/LG again today. After I watched it,I thought it was boring. The only match I enjoyed was Jazz/Trish.

The handicap match was so overdone and made Team Angle look so weak.

I will agree that Team Angle looked weak but it was still a good match.

Good from the start to the end.

Only "good" match at NWO was Show/Taker.

I disagree.

Jeff/Y2J,Matt/Kidman,Handicap and Like you said (Show/Taker) was good.

I never said the 6 man was good, I said it was watchable.

I know,I know.

Trish/Jazz and Brock/Cena were also watchable.

I agree with Jazz/Trish.

Plus Rock/Goldberg(no matter how bad) >>> Steiner/HHH, Austin/Bisch & Rock/Hogan COMBINED.

I disagree.

HHH/Steiner >Rock/Goldberg

Austin/Bisch and Rock/Hogan was awful.

Rock/Goldberg-Rock did exactly what he did at NWO,That's stall for about 5 minutes. Then he does his usual moves and took a page out of Goldberg's book and did a spear.Goldberg no sells everything Rock put on him.Goldberg does 3 spears and a ugly rockbottom.

HHH/Steiner-Steiner controlled this match from start to finish. From the start Steiner works on HHH leg,HHH wants ref to get Steiner to back up.(Steiner does) and They lock up and Steiner works on HHH leg again. Then Steiner gets him to the corner and hammer his leg some more.HHH sells throughout the match(Unlike Goldberg).Steiner still works on the leg by putting him in the F4.Flair interfers and Steiner chases him and HHH gets up after hoping over to push down Steiner.HHH then takes the advantage.Gives him a neckbreaker and some blows to the face.HHH worked Steiner ribs and Then Steiner takes control the rest of the match.

HHH/Steiner had the better booking.

Goldberg/Rock was confusing.Goldberg goes for the spear way too early,Goldberg spears the Rock after he just got Rockbottom,Elbow,Kicked and Slammed.Goldberg no sells everything,Rock stalls about 10 minutes total and does a ugly sharpshooter and spear.

HHH/Steiner was way better.HHH sells and Steiner focused on 1 body part to try to own the world championship.

Backlash >>> NWO

NWO> Backlash

Basically the short matches, the shitty endings, and the mind numbing super long skits that went all night made Bad Blood the worst. If that was RAW I would of been channel surfing. At least Backlash, Judgment Day, Unforgiven, and Judgment Day didn't have a Redneck Shitathalon.

Here's I'll go over the card with my own opinion:

No Way Out

Chris Jericho Vs. Jeff Hardy - Great opener and the best RAW match in my mind.

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions William Regal & Lance Storm Vs. Rob Van Dam & Kane - It was good.

Matt Hardy (w/ Shannon Moore) Vs. WWE Cruiserweight Champion Billy Kidman - Solid match

The Undertaker Vs. The Big Show (w/ Paul Heyman) - I was surprised by how they booked it. I liked it.

Brock Lesnar & Chris Benoit Vs. WWE Smackdown! World Champion Kurt Angle & WWE Smackdown! Tag Team Champions Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas in a handicap match - I didn't like how Team Angle was made to look weak at first, but it made the match better as the faces overcame the odds. This was the best match from SD.

WWE Raw World Champion Triple H (w/ Ric Flair) Vs. Scott Steiner - Yeah, it sucked, but it was a vast improvement over RR. Plus Steiner got buried. :D

Steve Austin Vs. Eric Bischoff - DUD!!!!!!

The Rock Vs. Hulk Hogan - It wasn't as good as WM, but I thought having The Rock and Hulk Hogan in opposite roles was better off. I liked the way it happened because it was made to set-up Hogan / McMahon.

Backlash

WWE Smackdown! Tag Team Champions Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin Vs. Eddie & Chavo Guerrero Jr. - The second best match on the PPV in my mind, it was too slow for my taste.

Sean O'Haire (w/ Roddy Piper) Vs. Rikishi - The best thing about this match was Piper.

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Rob Van Dam & Kane Vs. The Dudley Boyz - It was good, probably the best RAW match.

Jazz (w/ Teddy Long) Vs. WWE Women's Champion Trish Stratus - It was okay, I never get tired of this feud though.

The Big Show Vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. - I didn't like this match because whoever would have still made his opponent looked bad. It was better Rey won though.

WWE Smackdown! World Champion Brock Lesnar pinned John Cena - I'd say this was the best SD match. Sure, Cena had no chance, but the way the match turned out, I liked how it did. The performance from both men really surprised me.

WWE Raw World Champion Triple H, Ric Flair, & Chris Jericho Vs. Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels, & Booker T - Bah, Jericho and Booker hardly any time in this match, I didn't like it. HHH winning for his team didn't help either.

Bill Goldberg Vs. The Rock - The match sucked, but I'm still glad it happened since it was a dream match of mine.

Judgment Day

John Cena, Chuck Palumbo, & Johnny Stamboli (w/ Nunzio) Vs. Chris Benoit, Rhyno, & Brian Kendrick - This could have been a great opener, but them getting only FOUR minutes is unexcusable.

Sylvian Grenier & Rene Dupree defeated Scott Steiner & Test (w/ Stacy Keibler - DUD

Eddie Guerrero & Tajiri (sub. for Chavo Guerrero Jr.) Vs. WWE Smackdown! Tag Team Champions Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas in a ladder match - MoTN

The IC Battle Royale - Didn't like the screwjob finish

Mr. America Vs. Roddy Piper (w/ Sean O'Haire) - Yeah, it sucked, but I marked out.

Kevin Nash Vs. WWE Raw World Champion Triple H - DUD

WWE Women's Champion Jazz Vs. Trish Stratus Vs. Victoria Vs. Jacqueline - Wasn't bad, I was expecting a title change though

WWE Smackdown! World Champion Brock Lesnar Vs. the Big Show in a stretcher match - Great match, just fun to watch from start to finish

Bad Blood

Christopher Nowinski & Rodney Mack (w/ Teddy Long) Vs. the Dudley Boyz - I'm a Nowinski mark so I was happy.

Scott Steiner Vs. Test - Barely decent

Booker T Vs. WWE IC Champion Christian - Bah, their match at Insurrextion was way better. Booker T not winning the IC title in his hometown was just flat-out bullshit.

Sylvian Grenier & Rene Dupree Vs. WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Rob Van Dam & Kane - The rookies won, didn't like it.

Bill Goldberg Vs. Chris Jericho - Jericho carried Goldberg to an enjoyable match.

Ric Flair Vs. Shawn Michaels - MoTN, could've done without the Orton run-in though.

WWE Raw World Champion Triple H Vs. Kevin Nash in a Hell in a Cell - The worst HIAC since Boss Man / Undertaker

Unforgiven

The Dudley Boyz Vs. Rob Conway & WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Sylvian Grenier & Rene Dupree in a handicap tables

Test (w/ Stacy Keibler) Vs. Scott Steiner - The only good thing about this match was the build-up video.

Randy Orton (w/ Ric Flair) Vs. Shawn Michaels - MoTN, but the knuckles usage was fucking lame as the match should have ended when Randy countered the SCM with the RKO.

Lita & Trish Stratus Vs. WWE Women's Champion Molly Holly & Gail Kim - It was okay despite Lita almost killing herself.

Kane Vs. Shane - Enjoyable, but Shane was too dominative and he lost because of his own stupidity which I hate.

WWE IC Champion Christian Vs. Rob Van Dam Vs. Chris Jericho - It was okay, went on a little too long. Christian retaining didn't help.

Al Snow & Jonathan Coachman Vs. Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross - DUD

Bill Goldberg Vs. WWE Raw World Champion Triple H - Survivor Series blew this out of the water, but it was great that HHH finally lost the damn title.

So in my mind, its NWO > Backlash > Unforgiven > Judgment Day > Bad Blood.
