JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2004 Sounds like a pretty good show, although it sucks that Chris Hero lost. Ace Steel vs. Jerry Lynn was hopefully really good. Surprised that Matt Sydal won the Light Heavyweight title, but I've never seen him.
Guest PowerPB13 Report post Posted January 18, 2004 Awesome, GCW(Daizee, Delirious, Matt) went 3-0 and Matt even took home some gold! Matt's been on NWA-TNA a handful of times(as well as XPlosion), he regularly works GCW(a fed in the St. Louis area). -Patrick
Guest bort Report post Posted January 18, 2004 I wonder if the Hero thing is a gimmick, He is gettin alot of work elsewhere and may be gettin to big for IWA MS but i didnt see him leaving
Guest Jay Z. Hollywood Report post Posted January 21, 2004 Hero's moving to Europe fulltime and will only be wrestling for MLW in the States since they're the only ones who will pay to fly him in. IWA will probably bring him back for next year's TPI but that'll be it.
Guest PowerPB13 Report post Posted January 24, 2004 Matt had the belt with him at the GCW show last night during intermission...dunno how long he'll have it, but great to see him win a champinoship. -Patrick
JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2004 Finally get to see a good picture of the guy, his picture on EWR is horrendous. Do you have anymore information on Matt, like what his finisher and signature moves are.
Guest PowerPB13 Report post Posted January 25, 2004 His main finisher is the shooting star press, but he also uses the springboard 450 and the dragon rana, among other moves. The move he used to win the belt was something I'd never heard of him using before, hope to see it myself soon. -Patrick

ulfistgut 0 Report post Posted January 25, 2004 He's now going to be on all wXw shows apparently, but they only run one show a month at the moment. I heard he was doing a tour of europe but it's entirely possible he's moving
