Guest TNAPhillip Report post Posted January 18, 2004 Just went over to Wrestling Observer and found this in the Saturday update: NWA TNA starts on Sunshine Network on 2/6. This is big news for TNA as Sunshine Network has a rather large reach and many of it's programs are picked up as part of the Fox Sports Digital Package. Other wrestling feds such as IWA Puerto Rico and MLW also air on Sunshine and in turn on the Fox Sports Digital package. I'm sure this is probably just for Xplosion but that is still great news and if they are included in the Friday night lineup with IWA PR and MLW it will be a good night of wrestling for fans everywhere. Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2004 So you get two WWE Lites in IWA-PR and TNA, and one ECW Lite in MLW?

Guest Markingout Report post Posted January 18, 2004 I know. MLW is an ECW lite anymore. PR is just plain meh. Also MXPW(Local) has been added too Sunshine lineup. So that means 4 hours of wrestling on Fridays. MXPW features stars like AJ Styles,Chris Sabin,Christopher Daniels,Scoot Andrews,Gangrel,Julio Deniro, and a bunch of local talent. Pretty cool fed. I love Sunshine Network... We also get WEW
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted January 18, 2004 Yes. TNA Xplosion (or whatever) on Sunshine Network. At least it gives me a reason to watch the network besides watching the Magic suck. (and win games now and then)
Guest Coffey Report post Posted January 18, 2004 What the fuck is the Sunshine Network? Does this mean the WGN deal is out, or is this something entirely different? I'll really be pissed if NWA:TNA finally get a TV deal and it's with another goddamn station that I don't get (like UPN).
Michrome 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2004 Good news for TNA, but it won't help *me* see it
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted January 18, 2004 Yes, syxx, I ridicule every fucking promotion, especially the ones that deserve ridicule. I, too, do not get the Sunshine Network, nor do I get WGN.

They seem to repeat the same episodes every few weeks.

MXPW will start airing the last week of Feb. MXPW,IWA,MLW,and TNA will all air in a row for an amazing 4 hours of wrestling.

I couldn't even find the new timeslot last week. It may not be ROH, but I'll have to settle with what I have to watch on TV for now.
The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2004 I don't get sunshine network either. But it is a good thing for TNA...because a lot of people do.

Yeah, this only really affects people in Florida, who get Sunshine with their regular cable. If you are a dish subscriber and get Sunshine, you could already see xplosion on the Empire Sports Network.
Michrome 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Honestly, I think TNA should try to make Xplosion more of a first run show, like Hardcore TV...1 or 2 matches a week, with lots of quick promos building up things. Even though Sunshine doesn't penetrate very far, Fox Sports Digital picks up a lot of it.
