I wish they'd make a DX DVD.

Why is Rick Rude checking out Shawn Michaels ass in your signature?

OR he fell asleep. Either one.

Anyone know what's on the Monday Night Wars DVD? They could have a lot of cool stuff on that.

There was a thread a week or so back about it. I'm pretty sure most of it was some crap, like Arquette's title win, and Sting/Hogan from Starrcade 97 to name a few.

WWE1092.jpg

In 1995, two wrestling companies squared off on Monday night television to compete head to head in an unprecedented confrontation.

On one side, Vince McMahon, the promotor who created WWE and made the industry what it is today.

On the other, WCW, owned by media giant Ted Turner, and run by an ambitious man named Eric Bischoff.

This is the whole story, told by those who created it, lived it, and survived it. The Monday Night War!

DVD Extras:

86 minutes of the matches and events that changed the face of sports-entertainment.

Two matches from RAW:

- Stone Cold Steve Austin & Shawn Michaels vs. British Bulldog & Owen Hart

- Shawn Michaels & Triple H vs. Legion of Doom

Two matches from NITRO:

- Chris Benoit vs. Booker T

- Goldberg vs. Hulk Hogan

Plus more!

(I find it hilarious they recycled McMahon's picture from the WM 19 cover)

Damn those extras are KICK ASS

True, someone should encode them, because the actual feature will be an 85-minute blowjob of how WWE rules all. History is written by the winners. I still can't get over the fact that Bischoff is running Raw as a bitch to WWE creative. Just seeing this in '97 would be surreal.

Am I wrong or Monday Night War was changed to Rise and Fall of WCW for the DVD's US release? Maybe they kept the original title for other countries. Still, worth picking up for the Austin/HBK vs Hart/Bulldog match alone. But I'm still pissed there's no pre-order available from amazon.com yet for this baby.

EDIT: Never mind. It's already on Amazon.com pre-order with a nice 30% discount. Release date says February 10th FYI, same as the Stone Cold Truth DVD.

Hold on...they have YEARS of footage from 1995-2001 and they have four matches on the DVD?

I mean, the matches look fun to see, that's for sure, and I know they have to limit it to guys that compete for the company now...

But FOUR?

He fell asleep because Michaels did all the coke before the interview.

Anyways I want a Jericho DVD damnit. Just name it Break the Walls Down or some shit like that.

You know they did make a DX video tape, highlighting mainly HBK and HHh DX. I don't think its on DVD through just VHS.

Cena DVD

This takes it though.. It was bad enough The Rock releasing an AutoBiogrophy... What the hell is going to be on the Cena DVD? All five of his (best) matches?

The DVD on the WWF V WCW feud only has four matches so why not?

They'll have the usual 80 minute fluff piece with promos and a few matches - debut Vs Angle, V Lesner, Vs Taker etc.
