Guest Coffey Report post Posted January 23, 2004 Is that the one where Bret "snaps" and hits Will Sasso with a chair before slapping him into a Sharpshooter? I guess it would be since I don't recall Bret Hart being on the show outside of that episode. It is pretty funny, but at the same time Bret makes it seem serious and the cast of Mad TV sell it well. He was on it a few times in 1999 when he was in WCW and he also was on it once back in 1997 shortly before he left the WWF.
iliketurtles 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2004 Perhaps it's just timezone issues? It says Eastern Time on his site. I think he probably just got a bad source.

Boner Kawanger 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2004 Watching this, I found it funny that, if you go back five years and tell someone "Mad TV is still around, but WCW isn't.", would be one of the more shocking things you could hear in 1999.
AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2004 yeah...THAT's what i THOUGHT would happen...don't fuck with me, Comedy Central...i STILL haven't forgiven you for getting rid of MST3K and The Upright Citizens Brigade... At least they had an excuse for MST3K (movie rights), but otherwise it seems all the good shows get cancelled. Also, I wouldn't want to see this again. MadTV is not funny and that ep only led to a horrible angle that probably had Vince laughing has ass off and saying "I told you so!" Watching this, I found it funny that, if you go back five years and tell someone "Mad TV is still around, but WCW isn't.", would be one of the more shocking things you could hear in 1999. Not if you heard it in mid-2000, though.
