Paul Stanley 0 Report post Posted January 30, 2004 From my various 1983 Creatures Tour bootlegs of mine, Vinnie Vincent's solos in the KISS songs are overdone, esp. on God Of Thunder. I like the first Vinnie Vincent Invasion LP, the second one with Mark Slaughter just ruined it. I hate Slaughter. Kulick did come to his peak at Revenge & Carnival Of Souls. I hate it when people say the C.O.S album was all Bruce's idea so therefore it sucks. It's obviously not true if you have ever heard Bruce's solo stuff. Never heard any of Bruce Kulick's solo stuff or his Blackjack records. And I didn't know people were shitting over Bruce because of the COS album. It was a decent dark proyect, IMO. Not one of Kiss' best but highly listeneable. The drum sound I hate, though. And hey, I like Slaughter. They were good in their pop-rock kinda way. One hit wonders, but still enjoyable for the time.
