it's rather obvious that Benoit is winning the title at WM XX. the guy got a monster push at the Rumble and then, he just lost the big match at Mania ?!! no way it's happening!

Remember the big push Jericho got in late 2001 when he became Undisputed Champion? Then, do you remember what happened with Jericho before Wrestlemania X-8? Right. Past history has shown that no matter how hard a good wrestler under 6'0 is pushed, a politicking inferior wrestler will always be in their way to stop them and bury them at any cost. I'm hoping we're all wrong about the possible mishandling of Benoit's push, though.

Optimistically, I see Benoit defeating Triple H clean-yes clean-to win the World Title in the last match of the show. Even though Trips is involved, I think it would be a great match, with Triple H trying hard for someone not named Michaels, Shawn.

 

Pecimistically, I see Benoit pinning Shawn Michaels (another challenger) for the World Title in a senseless Triple Threat match that sees Shawn and Chris doing most of the effort, and Triple H being the "opportunistic" heel (what Ross will reiterate throughout the match) who just happens to not have to lay down for Benoit.

I just want to point this out....HHH has won his matches at the past 2 wrestlemaina's the one he lost at recently is to Taker.

I'll go one better than that. This will most likely be Trips FOURTH WrestleMania Title match. That'll put him above Savage, Michaels, Rock, Hart, and Austin, and second only to Hulk Hogan.

Like Shawn? The heat would be through the roof for that one just for the thought of Benoit getting revenge for his Albertan comrade over the event which must not be named alone. Factor in the hometown pop and whoo boy.

Yep. And if Benoit just happens to lose, you'll bet your ass there would be a riot. So they'd have to put him over.
