If in 1994, in WCW, instead of jobbing Ray Traylor out to Vader every month (in great matches, no doubt, but still...) they'd have run a Traylor/Austin feud over the TV Title. For those who don't know, both men were over at a tremendous level and not really doing anything better at this point.

 

Who else thinks that could have been cool?

I wanted the Vader/Rude feud to come to fruition, but you know what happened there... so instead we got Vader jobbing to Sting... again...

If my memory is correct, Vader & Sting wrestled on PPV 5 times, with Vader winning 3 times.

 

Great American Bash 1992 - Vader wins WCW Title

 

Starrcade 1992 - Sting wins the "King of Cable" tournament

 

Superbrawl III - Vader defeats Sting to retain the WCW title

 

Slamboree 1994 - Sting pins Vader for the WCW International title. Although Sting should of taken Bobby Heenan's advice, "Just take the title!"

 

Fall Brawl 1994 - Vader beats Sting in the second half of the Triangle match and becomes the #1 contender to WCW Champion Hulk Hogan. The last time the two would meet on PPV.

 

Vader is 3-2 vs. Sting on PPV.
