Great news. It seems the push given to new people is starting to pay off for the WWE. Of course we'll have to wait for susequent weeks' numbers but I kinda see an upward trend. Agree, people?

Raw's probably going to blow those numbers with HBK remaining in the title picture to WMXX.

And why are they doing well?

The thing called storylines. They are finally having angles that are good which is why viewers keep coming back.

If they keep this up, the ratings could reach the 2000 level. Maybe...

Of course the ratings won't jump in a matter of a few weeks.

If they keep up with the good storylines, then the ratings will increase over time.

It seems like this year's "buzz" before Wrestlemania has been an anxious buzz. I think for the WWE to make a substantial jump in ratings, they have to make the shows interesting, and make sure that No Way Out and Backlash deliver well, besides Wrestlemania XX. The key is drawing even more fans before and after WM.

The key is doing a Wrestlemania that isn't chalk filled with dream matches involving old stars against each other, but rather those stars against the young guys. A feud with The Rock would do as much for John Cena as this feud with Foley is doing for Orton. Who benefits from Kane-Taker? Kane had one last chance to be a draw, and that was right after he lost his mask. He was drawing ratings and crowd interest, but the WWE killed it via the Shane feud.

Wrestlemania XX needs to get people excited about the future, with a few doses of nostalgia. This is the main reason I would go crazy if the Raw main event is made a 3-way...nobody benefits. Shawn *should* be jobbing to Jericho in a rematch from last year at Mania, but lord knows that ain't happening.

Actually, Having one or maybe two "dream" matches isn't a bad thing...as long as it's done in the right context...

Which is Why Shawn or HHH should just fucking lose a rematch on raw and then do a program with The Rock.

Either Way...

Personally, Benoit/HBK and HHH/Rock would be best.
