TVGO: What are your plans?

Carpenter: Well, I can tell you what my goals are. I have a son now, so I want the half-hour sitcom lifestyle, where you can have a family and work. And then, during summer hiatus, I'd like to do a Kill Bill or Wonder Woman or some movie like that.

 

TVGO: Wait, you want to do the long-rumored Wonder Woman movie?

Carpenter: I am actively putting it out there that I want to do Lynda Carter. It's my mission to be Wonder Woman! My agent hasn't seen a script, but some studio needs to do it. She's beautiful, she fights, and I like the concept of an empowerment role. I've always been so passive on Angel, where they usually wouldn't let Cordelia do martial arts stunts. Charisma wants to kick ass and bust heads!

 

I could see her as Wonder Woman. In fact, I'd welcome it since she has a genuine interest in the role. Any thoughts?

I think she could pull it off, but I don't see any chance in hell that they give a franchise role to Charisma Carpenter.

At this point any other DC hero movie would be better then another Batman or Superman movie. Hopefully the WB will make one.

I looked at imdb and it only says that she did Buffy and Angel tv. So I ask the Buffy fans, is this hippi girl any good as an actress? To be honest her name made me think that she co-starred in a few movies with Ron Jermany.

You're gonna get different answers depending upon who answers, and depending upon which version of Cordy they preferred. Personally, I think she was a good actress considering the fact that she can not only pull off the bitch role, but can also pull off the champion role, plus she has gotten physical in a few episodes. She also happens to have the body and look of Wonder Woman, IMO. I've also seen her in that ABC Family movie she did (yes, I watched it, Buffy and Angel fans) and she was the saving grace of that movie.

Because it wasn't made for the story or merit it was made to capatalize on not only the comic book trend, but the Halle Berry trend, all while disregarding a few select peices of history, like Cat Woman was white, and didn't wear what looks like a POOR strippers costume....

 

It's garbage, and I don't care how hard they spray that garbage with perfume, it's still garbage.

I've never defended this movie and never will, but sheesh, it's been said a BILLION times [in this forum even] that this is NOT the same Catwoman and that Selena Kyle is/was her MENTOR.

Hippie girl? I've never heard anyone call Charisma that.

 

Well, when she first started on Buffy, she wasn't good at all. I watched "Becoming Pt 2" last night and boy there were some parts in there where she was horrible.

 

However, she has gotten a lot better. She's no Nicole Kidman, but she isn't a Shannon Elizabeth. I'd say she is a decent actress, who isn't going to win an Oscar anytime soon.
