I mean why not have all four? Maybe even wait til the end of the month and show all the shows for a little bit more? I'm guessing they didn't get enough buys here, but who dumped who?
tommytomlin Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 Main Event dumped TNA, but it was more of a case of the contract expiring and Main Event not wanting TNA due to lousy buys. I still think a channel like Fox Sports or FOX8 should buy TNA to show for free each week instead of the ridiculous system Main Event used.
Guest JacK Posted February 7, 2004 Report Posted February 7, 2004 Ya, I couldn't imagine a show like TNA would get too many buys; I mean for one you'd have to be a net-fan to know what's going on each month; that'd piss off a whole lotta peeps. It'd be mad if they showed it for free each week, but I won't keep my hopes up . . . I doubt they'd want to pay the price TNA would demand, or indeed if it'd be worth it in terms of viewer-ness.

My god, what a shock. Now, I bought every WCW PPV I had access to, and even I didn't buy TNA! If we could get the same scenario as the US, I would have probably bought it every week. But not now though. So Main Event might as well not pay for it, I don't care.

Use Your Illusion Posted February 13, 2004 Report Posted February 13, 2004 FOX8 did show TNA highlights free of charge, however that has been over-run by their new weekend kids morning show featuring Spiderman, Hulk, Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers and The Simpsons. I'm ALL FOR that change, baby. Fuck TNA. UYI
