JustJoe2k5 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2004 Reviews of the match have ranged from "amazing" to "boring," but they pretty much built this match as a continuation of their 55-Minute Tables and Ladders match they had about a year earlier. The review is great, but when I read that one part "Dave Prazak and Jim Fannin were waaaaayyyyyy too good at their job for the indy paycheque they were probably taking home that night," I couldn't help but smirk because Jim Fannin is the one paying for everything, because he is the owner of IWA Mid-South. Why, I once watched Frank Gotch wrestle George Hackenschmidt catch-as-catch-can for over seven hours... back then, of course, if the match was shorter than four hours, we demanded our nickel back! In those days we didn't need fancy things like referees or rings, we relied on our wits, strength and a well fastened loincloth to entertain our fans. I fell asleep at the start (time was 9:00 or sometihng) woke up at 12 midnight, and the match was still on! of course, it was the replay, but the match sucked enough to fell that long.
