By LAUNCH Radio Networks

A Kiss tribute album featuring members of Twisted Sister, Styx, Whitesnake, and other bands will be released April 27. It's called Spin The Bottle - A Tribute To Kiss, and it covers well-known songs including "Detroit Rock City," "Love Gun," "Shout It Out Loud," and "Strutter," with vocals from Twisted Sister's Dee Snider, Tommy Shaw of Styx, Lemmy Kilmeister from Motorhead, and Helmet's Page Hamilton, among others. Musicians on Spin The Bottle include Kiss alumni Bruce Kulick, Whitesnake's Doug Aldrich and Marco Mendoza, Toto's Steve Lukather and Mike Porcaro, Heart's Mike Inez, and Poison's C.C. DeVille.

The first pressing of the CD will have a bonus DVD with a 40-minute "making of" documentary that has performances, session footage, and interviews.

The tracklisting for Spin The Bottle - A Tribute To Kiss includes: "Detroit Rock City" (featuring Dee Snider of Twisted Sister), "Love Gun" (featuring Tommy Shaw of Styx), "Cold Gin" (featuring Mark Slaughter of Slaughter), "King Of The Night Time World" (featuring WWE wrestler Chris Jericho), "I Want You" (featuring Kip Winger of Winger), "God Of Thunder" (Featuring Buzz Osborne of the Melvins), "Calling Doctor Love" (featuring Page Hamilton of Helmet), "Shout It Out Loud" (featuring Lemmy Kilmeister of Motorhead), "Parasite" (featuring Doug Pinnick of King's X), "Strutter" (featuring Phil Lewis of L.A. Guns), and "I Stole Your Love" (featuring Robin McAuley of the McAuley-Schenker Group).

There's been a few 'indie' tribute albums released (like KISS Undressed and the bluegrass KISS album) but this is the 2nd one that features semi huge names (KISS my ass was the first).

Sweet. Kiss is/was a favorite of mine years back, and I have about every KISS CD out. Almost. :)

I'd have to agree with Steviekick here. Lemmy singing "Shout It Out Loud" will MAKE this album.

Heh...three of the tunes advertised are all from Destroyer. Now who's singing "God Of Thunder," since this BETTER be covered? I vote Bruce.

The article said Buzz from MELVINS will do "God of Thunder"

If I'm not mistaken, the Melvins already covered "God of Thunder" on a previous release. Please correct me if I'm wrong, it might be a different Kiss song.

BTW, I'm sooo getting this CD, hopefully with the bonus DVD, too.
