Given the way the last season has gone, there's reason to dislike Friends. Although the 80's flashback two weeks ago was killer, if you ignore Danny DeVito. Hey Danny, maybe you should work on getting "Karen Sisco" picked up by another station...

 

Best:

Episode: The One With All The Thanksgivings

I'm glad friends is going off air. Since season 6 every character just said a catchphrase for 30 minutes while the six of them were coupled together in almost every combination. Still series 2 is awesome.

 

Frasier on the other hand will be a loss to me. It has had some great episodes.

Fraiser I haven't watched in a long time...but the best episode I saw was the one where they were at the ski lodge (I think) and everyone was trying to sleep with everyone. HI-larious.

What's kind of interesting is how the character of Frasier changed from Cheers to his show. On Cheers he's hanging out at Bar with guys like Cliff, and Norm. On Frasier he's a full of himself pompous jerk, who wouldn't be caught dead in a place like Cheers.

He was still a pompous jerk on Cheers, but he didn't have a radio show then. My assumption is that since he's a pseudo-celeb (due to having his own radio show) his ego got inflated to the point where he couldn't just "hang out" in a bar.

 

And also, if he went to a bar, that'd be too "Cheers-like", and they really needed to let Frazier not be attached to that. It's something that Bright-Kaufmann-Crane needs to keep in mind for "Joey".

Big Friends fanatic here, but I agree that the last seasons weren't that good.

 

BEST

Episode - God, so many to choose from. 'TOW Everybody finds out' and 'TOW No One's Ready' are my favorites though

Regular character - Pre-Marriage Chandler, overall Ross

Reacuuring character - Phoebe's brother Frank Jr.

One Shot Character - Eddie (Chandler's psychotic new roommate after Joey moves out in Season 2)

Big time-Guest star - NOT Christina Applegate, I didn't find her funny at all. Bruce Willis on the other hand was awesome.

Story Line - Joey moving out in Season 2, made perfect by the awesome video package 'All By Myself'

 

WORST:

Episode - Dunno, but the last 2-3 seasone had many mediocre episodes

Regular character - Post-Marriage Chandler, overall Monica (she's still good though)

Reacuuring character - RICHARD

One Shot Character - Christina Applegate as Rachel's sister

Big time Guest Star - Elle McPherson as Joey's roommate

Storyline - Rachel and Phoebe living together, they didn't mesh well

I haven't watched Frasier since Niles finally got with Daphne and I stopped watching Friends around season 4 I believe.

 

However, I do plan on watching the final episode for each show.

Episode: The episode when Joey/Chandler and Monica/Rachel have the contest is my favorite. Also up there is when Phoebe finally has the triplets.

How many episodes of Friends are left? I'm a fan (enough to d/l them as soon as they come on Bit Torrent) but not big enough to be able to name any particular episodes.

I read somewhere (eMule comments ), that there are 6 episodes left. But that would mean only 18 episodes and every season up until now had 24 or 25.

 

So yeah, I don't know.
