LucharesuFan619 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2004 It's booked one-on-one for OVW's March Mayhem show. Also booked is Team Players vs. Johnny Jeter & Danny Basham/The Damaja and Jimmy Valiant's retirement ceremony. I'd rather have seen this match 2 years ago (even one), when Cena and Orton were really looked at in the same respect - as two soon-to-breakout stars. I remember their matches with Angle and the like and how they were both at about the same level on the card, and then both broke out on their respective brands. Since then, Orton's became kinda stale, at least a bit, but it should still be a very interesting match. I also would rather see it on a WWE PPV because it'd be able to be seen by more people and would probably get more time, but still...this could be good, pending it's booked right. (hoping this qualifies as WWE-related...if not, sorry.)
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 18, 2004 So, cena doesn't have good matches when people don't carry him, and Orton does't have good matches period, and they can have a good match?

Austin3164life 0 Report post Posted February 18, 2004 This match would most likely blow. I like Cena but he, in no way, has the ability to carry anyone, let alone Randy Orton.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted February 18, 2004 Both John Cena and Randy Orton have in-ring ability, you idiots. If it was up to you, noone would. But I'm not saying that they can't improve. The reason it would be great to see them in the ring now is because, while now being incredibly over, their styles have pretty much developed into their own, and, along with their obvious comparisons, they could work a great match. If by in-ring ability you mean no in-ring ability aside from dropkicks and shitty punches, then yes, they have lots of in-ring ability.

We're idiots because we hate the way these guys wrestle? Because they don't entertain us? Wow.......I'm speechless. Hmm......I enjoy seeing Cena wrestle against a good wrestler that can carry him.......Orton I have yet to see be carried by anyone. This match should by all means blow. But who knows? Maybe they'll pull out something good. Does OVW work WWE Style? That might be their problem.

Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted February 18, 2004 WOW, first thread ever where I totally agree with Tawren & Damaramu. Calling us idiots for not like something can probably be a weak C-Level flame bait, but also stupid because Orton can't draw heat from MICK FOLEY. How does anyone expect to care about Orton/Cena. Morgan could work the leg, to make up for the fact Jones will miss all his kicks. It makes sense people.

Either that or switch over to WCW and have a ***** face vs. face Iron man match showdown between El Gigante and Junkyard Dog.
