With ten matches, many high profile names are not included on the card. Some of which include: Ric Flair, Hardcore Holly, Billy Gunn, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, The Bashams, A-Train, Matt Hardy, Scott Steiner, Rikishi, Scotty 2 Hotty, Bradshaw, Faarooq, Rhyno, Garrison Cade, Mark Jindrak, Hurricane, Test, Val Venis, Lance Storm, Rico, Matt Morgan, Orlando Jordan, Chuck Palumbo, Johnny Stambolli, Spike Dudley, Trish Stratus, Molly Holly, Lita, Victoria, and Jazz.

Lets play the game....Find the HIGH PROFILE NAMES from that list?

um...

Ric Flair?

Maybe Steiner..maybe

And Flair and Trish are sure to show up on the show anyway playing seconds for the Jericho vs. Christian and Rock'n'Sock vs Orton/Batista respectively.

I say anyone who doesn't have a match can atleast get stuck in a battle royal on Heat, so atleast they have some participation in the event.

Which title match will be the main event?

*crosses fingers that HHH doesn't put himself in the match and goes with the WM tradition of a 1 on 1 main event*

also, instead of having Booker and RVD in some crap Raw Tag Titles match (and pissing on Smackdown, which isn't scheduled to have one), how about a Raw vs. Smackdown challenge tag match?

Pit Book 'n RVD vs. The World's Greatest tag team, give it atleast 10 minutes, and you'll have a pretty decent match I can assure you.

Except for when Cena beat Show cleanly with an FU at both Survivor Series (chain shot ahead of time though) and at the Smackdown from Baghdad on Christmas.

As well as the SD following SSeries

I would use Rock differently than they are planning.

I'd have Rock come back on RAW this week to all his pomp and circumstance (cause he's a big star)...and get on the mic and say he's back for Mania. The crowd can go nuts...

and Then I'd have someone like RVD or Booker come down and say it's Bullshit that they bust there ass for WWE night in and night out and Rock can just come back and be put right on Mania...while they have to scratch and claw to try and get on (this would probably work best with Van Dam...who wasn't on Mania last year).

Rock can put him over and you've started creating a new star just like that.

Bah,RVD heel? Plus that just seems too happen too quickly. The idea of Rock and Foley vs Orton/Batista is alot better. Like Foley cant beat Evolution and Rock comes help. There is history there.

But it works BECAUSE it's so last minute.

Rock can just show up (which is going to happen) and his place is still warm for him.

RVD has a legit gripe about last year, and anyone can play a heel when they believe in what they are being a heel for.

Plus...he'll get booed facing the Rock.

(1.)If they do a tag team gauntlet with both brands vying to unify the titles (which could be Vince's big announcement next week), nearly everyone on this list could be thrown into there with Booker/Van Dam and the WWE tag champions.

(2.)I just assumed Morgan wouldn't be ready for Mania.

(3.)The women will get a title match thrown onto the card, obviously.

So you're talking about turning RVD heel then?

I like that too. I just like Rock better as a heel. Besides, his heel entrance was amazing.

Oh I love Rock as a heel. Anytime he's going to be around for a few months he should be a heel.

I'm just thinking down the line if RVD signs a new contract...he's not going to get any fresher by staying a face. Even if they wanted to push him the stink of failure and midcarder won't come off without a lot of spit and polish.

The thing is that it is Wrestlemania 20. Things should be built up. Rock is one of the biggest stars ever. He should be there in something with some relivance and build up. Plus it seems soo weird too push RVD so fast. He has been buried for awhile. Kinda like Guerrero in the summer he was mega over and they didnt capatilize on it for a long time. He really dosent need a heel turn, but a gimmick.

RVD is mega over and his offense will always keep him over with marks.

You can't turn The Rock or RVD heel. The Rock as heel didn't work. RVD as in 2001 was horrible also along with Stone Cold. My point, someone can play a great heel but some people were just meant to be face.

I don't understand how you're supposed to build a program around a guy who won't even be on RAW until 2 weeks before Mania.

His presence in the Foley feud isn't even built up...he's just being thrown into it.

The only way to build it up would be to keep running promos that Rock will return on so and so day...

Rock is a natural heel. He was the biggest heel for quite some time. In 98 before we heard Rocky we heard "Rocky SUCKS". He was mega over as heel. He is one of the few people that can be heel or face perfectly. RVD in 2001 was bad because he wasnt heel or face. The fans were confused. Plus ECW RVD heel work circa 95-97.

He has history with Foley though. He is being thrown in because they were a tag team. Foley asks for Rock's help and Rock his there. Because of there history.

I don't understand how you can say The Rock as a heel failed. He was over because he was a good heel.

Indeed, Indeed. When exactly did Rocky turn heel. I know he did the WWF debut at SS 96' as the bluechipper. Did he turn he when he joined the NOD? I've been wondering this for a while.

Randy Orton & Batista vs. The Rock & Mick Foley

THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN. Geez, isn't it obvious that it will be a one-on-one match? This would be such a waste of Rocky.

How do you figure? Orton has not had his confrontations with Foley be one on one for weeks now. Foley keeps getting trashed by Evolution and not just Orton. Rocky will be there for the big save this week on Raw, and there will be the match.

Yes, but it's centered around Orton and Foley. Throwing Rock in there will just lessen the meaning of the program: Putting Orton over. Batista and Flair can have a match against RVD/Booker. Or even have Batista face Rock one-on-one. Use BPS's idea with Batista saying the Rock is over the hill, blah blah blah and do a quick build to the program.

It's pointless to have Rock's big comeback as a tag match, if he's even coming back. And it's pointless to not end the Orton/Foley issue in a one-on-one match with Orton actually 'killing' a legend and finishing Foley off. Make is a streetfight or something.

Isn't Batista older than Rocky?

Well, in real life, I think so. In WWE, Rocky's more of a vetern, and Batista's practically a rookie.

Im talking about those wrestlers now. Yes those wrestlers were great heels along time ago. Try tearning Rock at right now or RVD it won't work.

Matt Hardy would be perfect.

It could be the catalyst for a huge push, and he deserves it.

I didn't say his heel run failed. But I 'am saying you can't tearn Rock heel now. During the end rocks heel run the crowd appaluded him no matter what he did. When he had that concert the crowd cheered for him, when he rock bottomed Goldberg half the crowd still appluaded him. Thats all I 'am saying.
