EdwardKnoxII 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2004 Big Update On Goldberg's WMXX Status & Beyond Could Goldberg stay with WWE? WWE has no plans to use Goldberg on TV leading up to WrestleMania XX and have not even asked him to do pre-taped vignettes to build to his WrestleMania XX match with Brock Lesnar. Goldberg is currently off shooting the Santa's Slay movie. New reports indicate that WWE has not even offered Goldberg a new contract. WWE has only gone as far as to ask Goldberg if he'd be interested in doing future appearances with the company. Those talks have not gone anywhere. WWE likely would have interest in bringing Goldberg in for their Japan tour. The relationship between WWE and Goldberg is said to still be very strained at this point and, for now, there doesn't seem to be much of a future between the two sides. Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 22, 2004 The best possible thing to do. FGB gets destroyed for the majority of the match. FGB hits a desperation Spear, leaps up to make the stupid ass post spear faces, turns around, and walks directly into an F5 from Brock, who no-sold the Spear, for the three. Guest TheArchiteck Report post Posted February 22, 2004 For some reason I just can't stomach Goldberg losing to Brock. Even though it'll be best for the company to have Brock win. But urgh..... Goldberg shouldn't lose cleanly. Unless its to another ex-wcw guy.

I think that scenario is likely, but I'd expect it to be more along the lines of "no-sell the spear, kick out of 2 jackhammers, counter an attempted third into an F5, pin, bye-bye Billy." However, why isn't the WWE trying to milk this as a huge money match like they should? Goldie's off shooting a movie and they aren't going to build up this match. Hmm...lame, stupid, and pointless. Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 22, 2004 Any Chances of a SSP here? Heh. Didn't think so. I still love they awkwardly cut away during the packages hyping mania...just looks weird seeing 3/4 of the move and all.

I mean it would pretty much end his American wrestling career considering he might not even get resigned....so the WCW-nut inside of me figure it would be kind of fitting for the guy to lose to a WCW guy. Shit...just thinking about it makes my headhurt now.
haVoc 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2004 What pisses me off is Brock won't be doing much for the next 4 weeks with Goldberg off TV. I think Brock has improved on his promos but he's not a person who can carry a feud through words. He's no Austin calling Bret out of "retirement."
Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted February 22, 2004 part of me kind of hopes this turns into a shoot, with Goldberg purposely not selling anything and kicking out of the F5.
Guest BionicRedneck Report post Posted February 22, 2004 How retarded is that? The match with the most interest is gonna have no build-up. Morons.

Let's be honest, if GB did that, Brock would wipe the mat with him. GB THINKS he can fight. Lesnar KNOWS he can. -=Mike

The shoot with Jericho, in the locker room! Jericho puts in the headlock! Goldberg can't get out of it! Bawh Gawd! Awesome!

Guest ManKinnd Report post Posted February 22, 2004 If Goldberg got angry and tried shooting on Lesnar only to get killed, I think we may be looking at the best WM ever.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted February 22, 2004 I dunno. One kick from Billy boy can end your career. Please, Goldbeard is too fucking sloppy and lazy these days to even connect the sidekick anymore... That's something People neglect about the Hart/Berg Career ender match...Goldberg actually brought his WORKING BOOTS!
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted February 22, 2004 Alot of people forget that FGB fucked Bret's head up THREE Times in that match, not just the Kick. Goldberg's over all uselessness caused him to drop an elbow directly on Bret's head and forget to grab Bret's leg on the ring post figure four.
