Morgan is very well liked backstage but some feel he is not picking things up as quickly as possible. WWE did opt to bring him up from OVW very early. Credit: Wrestling Observer Newsletter
Red Baron Posted February 23, 2004 Report Posted February 23, 2004 John Hennigan He was on TE? I didn't know they still make them
Guest Askewniverse Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 John Hennigan He was on TE? Yes. He was the "spinaroonie dude" who could also do a standing SSP. Hennigan co-won Tough Enough III.
EricMM Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 WWE Logic = Have Chris Jericho work a boring match to get Kane over. You can't tell me spots don't pop the crowd. People don't come JUST for the psych.
Youth N Asia Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 The hell's the problem, Jericho? Trying to give the fans their money's worth by working a good match? For shame.
Guest Anglesault Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Matt Morgan always struck me as a nice guy who definately wanted to not suck.
Guest Choken One Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Speaking of which...did they EVER acknowledge him a TE Contestant?
Youth N Asia Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Speaking of which...did they EVER acknowledge him a TE Contestant? Nope...might have been harder to pass off as a monster.
Guest Choken One Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 I never did like how they never explained how Paul Heyman even FOUND Matt Morgan. Nathan Jones made sense, as he was there a few months ago and was a "famous prison immate"...Brock was the 2 Time NCAA Champion... Morgan? Just a HUGE monster that apprently Heyman discovered on his own...
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted February 24, 2004 Report Posted February 24, 2004 Matt Morgan always struck me as a nice guy who definately wanted to not suck. Agreed. Plus, he's still just green, and he doesn't seem to be Nathan Jones level- awful even now.
Guest BDC Posted February 25, 2004 Report Posted February 25, 2004 As long as the kid WANTS to improve, more power to him.
