cbacon 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2004 A while back i had problems burning audio cd's with RealPlayer. Halfway through i'd get an error report and it would stop burning. I figured it was the program, but i've been since trying with Roxio and the same problem is happening. I must have wasted a dozen CD's trying to burn. Any idea what the problem could be and how to fix it?
MrRant 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2004 Could be the drive.. or the drivers for the Burner. I would try uninstall and reinstall on the drivers and if still no go... buy a new burner. They are only around $40ish bucks now.
razazteca 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2004 The problem is that you are burning MP3s with a bit rate greater than or less than 128 use Nero instead. With Nero you can burn MP3s of 160, 192, 256 or whatever if you wish.

cbacon 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 Hmm, i'm thinking it's the drive . How do i go about fixing the driver options?
MrRant 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2004 If you have the drivers then just go to the Device Manager and uninstall the CD/RW drive. Reboot and Windows should detect it.
