I've flamed Tom, Kahran Ramsus, and Brian (when he was still a mod) myself, all in CE. I've never been banned. Why? Because I kept my problems with them in the context of the thread, I didn't take it outside the thread, I didn't whine and snivel about anything afterwards, and I treated them like any other poster in other threads and other folders. Taking a problem you have with a poster or mod outside the thread in which it starts, spreading it to others, and refusing to shut up when you're repeatedly told to do so is when you have problems. If you're trying to say how GM's flames towards Tom wasn't the "worse" you've seen then why did you even mention this line in the first place? Where are these flames? If you saw so many, why didn't you ban him then? Why did you wait until the topic in feedback? Because Tom wanted to resolve the issue with Ghettoman since he later felt like he had acted rash in suspending GM. Ask Tom why he did though since he'll be able to expand on this better than I can. Why didn't you ban him when he allegedly trolled? Why wait until the feedback topic? See above for first question. We didn't wait to ban GM in Feedback. I was the one who pushed GM into resolving his issue with Tom rather than seeing him go around in threads complaining about how Tom suspended him when Tom was willing to resolve the issue himself in a diplomatic fashion. You admit they are jokes, so it's obviously not blatant racism. Did I? However, GM persisted in making jokes that used racial slurs... It was clear GM was trying to be funny but I personally didn't think they were humorous at all. Perhaps I should have used a different adjective to describe his posts with racial slurs in them instead of making it appear like I was condoning or agreeing with him or you on that they had merit based on them being told as attempts at making a joke. Just to make this clear to everyone: Ghettoman was not banned for his posts in the thread he started in Feedback. He was banned for his persistance at flaming Tom in more than one folder for which he also continued to do so even after Tom had given GM an apology liked he said he wanted from the get-go of this. If he would have only flamed Tom in one thread that was designed to call him out and settle the score there then GM would have never gotten banned. He could have said "I don't accept your apology" like a civil human being, Tom would have accepted that along with the other mods, and everyone would have been able to go back to their regular posting. But if GM would have flamed Tom again in a different folder/thread for the same reason he did in the thread he started in the hypothetical situation I just offered up above, then he would have gotten canned for trolling, no questions asked. GM acted like a spoiled brat who couldn't handle getting a time-out for something wrong he said (which Tom felt was hasty afterwards on his end) and managed to handle his issue with Tom like a shit disturber instead of acting like a civil human and trying to find a resolution to the matter. If you want to stick with that one, Dames would be the judge, Sass, Tom, BPS would be the cops. Ghettoman mouthed off to Tom, Tom gave him an "obscene gesture", then Sass beat the shit out of him with a nightstick. *videotapes this event then sends it into a newstation where its shown on TV. I did for about the first half of my life (Ingelwood) so I know what constitutes living in a ghetto. He complained and complained and complained and complained and complained and bitched and bitched and bitched and bitched over and over and over and over and over and over He was told to give it up. He didn't. If you ask me, if you all keep bitching about this - you should be banned too. Dames would stand by this banning. Its not too cold to contiously dig for apologies after one admitted to be wrong. But Ghettoman would NOT drop it. He was acting like Rodney King while treating the mods like the LAPD. He was annoying and deserved it. End of story. If people learned how to be normal, well-functioning human beings who know when to DROP things after they've been settled - this wouldn't have happened.
