Punk and Teddy kick each other's asses legit

Recommended Posts

There was a physical altercation this afternoon between Teddy Hart and C.M. Punk in Nashville, TN before the TNA PPV, which they're both scheduled to be on.

Hart and Punk were involved in a physical confrontation at a restaurant near the Tennessee State Fairgrounds (home of the venue where TNA PPVs are taped) where workers eat prior to the TNA PPVs.

Punk was leaving the restaurant as Hart and his entourage were coming in. When the two ran into each other, Hart asked Punk if he had a problem with him and to step outside if he did. Punk went outside the restaurant and slapped Hart across the face.

A short scuffle took place, broken up by Sabu, among others. Hart ended up with a fat lip and a bruise on his face, while Punk had a scraped elbow and a bruised forehead. TNA management threatened that if it happened again, people would lose their jobs.

This is allready in the TNA folder.

I commend Punk for sticking to his guns, and having the bollocks to stand up to Hart. I cant see many wrestlers diagreeing with his actions.

I think this thread is more suitable, as both men work Indys, and not just TNA. Actually, only Punk is part of TNA normally, as Hart is usually a one shot deal.

As I said in the other thread, Punk rules for bitch slapping Hart around.

Eye-witness account from 1bob:

According to a first-hand account, the incident between CM Punk and Teddy Hart started as Punk was leaving the White Trash Cafe, where the wrestlers eat prior to the show, and Hart was entering. Hart chest bumped Punk, to which Punk responded by telling Hart to knock it off and to wipe the smile off his face. Hart asked him to step outside, which Punk did. When they were outside, Hart raised his hand gang style and Punk slapped him. Hart began crying and swung at Punk who kneed him to the gut. As Sabu tried to intervene, Hart grabbed Punk's hair and punched him in the forehead. Punk knee-barred Hart to the ground. Sabu was able to break it up. As Hart got up, he explained that all he was trying to do was shake Punk's hand.

We should take this account and turn it into play by play as done by all the commentators we have to listen too.

Tenay would talk about Jarrett half the time...and West would ask for replays.

The RoH guys would call all the moves...then we'll throw the word DANGEROUS in somewhere. Perhaps when Hart starts weeping...or pulls the hair.

JR/King writes itself...and includes no calling of action...or when calling a move always throw the word "modified" in front of it.

Cole can give away the result before the fight is over.

Another fake work involving Hart. Jesus. I am still hoping it wasn't though. Why bookers even take the risk of bringing this guy in is beyond me.

Here's what Meltzer said:

"The general consensus regarding last night's Teddy Hart last night are mixed. Because it is Hart, most we've talked to believe both things are a work. Others think the deal with Punk (a very brief altercation at the White Trash Cafe where Punk slapped Hart, Hart hit back and they were wrestling with each other for a few seconds until it was broken up by Sabu very quickly the afternoon of the show) may have been legit, and it put him in a bad mood. I've heard people in the company say they think the two worked the angle for ROH, but I'm skeptical of ROH's involvement because they've turned down all of Hart and Dave Penzer's ideas to do angles like this. Hart has a rep among the Calgary wrestlers for claiming injuries when he's in a bad mood. Mr. Aguila, who was in the ring with him when he suffered the knee injury that kept him out of the live TV match, was said to be adamant last night to the rest of the Mexican crew that Hart told him ahead of time the spot and that he'd do the knee injury from there. No doubt Hart's people will be denying this momentarily. "
