I thought the WHOLE fucking purpose here was the BIG RETURN of the Foley to the ring and putting over Orton...Instead it becomes about Rock's return.

I think they realized that MSG would shit all over Orton beating Foley.

 

And as long as we're doing fantasy scenarios that can never happen, instead of Rock/HBK, they should have done Angle/HBK.

I still say save that for SummerSlam...

 

Angle should wrestle the BEST in the world at the biggest stage...Eddy Guerrero.

 

Rock/HBK blend better then No Selling Masterpiece that Angle/HBK would have been.

No, Actually Matt's Southern Drawl would hurt the DA gimmick as much as SOH's bad acting did.

Nah...He had no problems with Rock/Hogan taking the spotlight(because he knew that match would BOOST his payoff as he was still the main event)...he wouldn't have problems with his best friend having that spot...don't forget he's letting Berg/Brock get more hype then his match...

London is nice but the name Paul sounds too oldy and nice...

I agree. Paul is kind of an antiquated name, not really suitable for a young guy. But then again I thought the same about John (Cena) soon after he debuted and that's a complete non-issue now.

 

I saw his match with Tajiri last night and it's ridiculous that he's merely a Velocity jobber. He started the match with the crowd not knowing or not caring who he was and finished the match with the crowd fucking LOUD for a Velocity match. He doesn't need a monster push (even for cruiserweight standards), just have him win a few matches! Even against Akio or Sakoda - it's not like they aren't expendable. I've been impressed with his outings week in and week out (moreso than Spanky) for months now and now I can say stuff like this without Dave O'Neill, Moron jumping on me.

Im going to make a guess...if Shawn v Rock was proposed, HBK would have vetoed it out of fear of being smoked on the microphone and the crowd reactions.
