They can't have Eddie Guerrero New WWE Champion look weak because he got elevated so quickly and needs to look strong in his first title defense. However, they can't have Recently Turned Mega Heel Kurt Angle look weak because he's the new #1 heel on Smackdown. So, in their own fucked-up way, they are trying to keep it "even". Have Eddy go up for the Frog Splash on Big Show and Angle run down, push him off which leads to Eddy hanging in a backwards Tree of Woe. Kurt follows that up by sitting on the top turnbuckle and cynching in the Ankle-lock with Eddy having no way to get out. Cena takes out Chavo and runs in with a chair for the save which chases off Angle but the damage has been down. Makes Kurt look bad-ass while not making Eddy look like a bitch. Yep, they're not competent and they decide things on the spur of the moment. Okay. The feud still makes sense. Eddie used to be a drug addict, he's someone that lies, cheats, and steals, and Kurt doesn't want him to be champion. It writes itself. Why should Angle go over every week? Eddy's the new rising star. He's the one that needs to prove that he's tough enough to wear the belt. What good would him getting beat down every week do? I think Kurt should kill all of Eddies friends (his support system) and be two steps ahead of Eddie. Kurt knows that Eddie can handle himself, but how can he handle all these people getting hurt around him? How will he deal?
