Mole 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2004 I can't stand that Buffy/Angel/Firefly shit either, but I hate almost everything that's ever been on tv. I like Iron Chef, The Dukes of Hazzard, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Fawlty Towers, Jeopardy, Seinfeld, and almost nothing else. I like trivia, comedy, and childhood sentimental amusement. You have to be in great shape to get through the training required to be an astronaut (a lot have previously been involved in the military). I agree about the survival instincts, but I don't know if that would give the cavemen enough of an advantage. Also are we talking about one caveman vs. one astronaut or a group of cavemen vs. a group of astronauts? The only reason I think the distinction should be made is because I could see an astronaut coming to his fellow astronauts aid happening more frequently than a caveman trying to save another caveman if he was getting his ass beat. At least, in every instance I have seen it has. The Caveman would have Extreme Strength, but the Astronaut doesn't have Extreme Skill; he probably has minimum skill. He probably knows a few hand-to-hand combat moves given his military training, but his actual experience in using it is between 0 and dick nothing. Astronauts are generally fighter pilots, and successful ones at that, so they were never in the same one-on-one situations a Caveman would be in. Cosmonauts are a different story. HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2004 If the astronaught can utilize his speed and intelligence he'd probably have a distinct advantage as he would be able to tire down the caveman however if the caveman can corner the astronaught then the caveman could take it quite easily.
