Guest Coffey Report post Posted February 27, 2004 I wouldn't mind if Hulk Hogan was there, as long as he was in a non-wrestling role. Of course, if he's not there all the shit with NWA:TNA is going to piss me off even more.
Guest Brian Report post Posted February 27, 2004 Hogan vs. Ric Flair, at their ages with very little build-up. Isn't that completely anti-climatic?
Guest nikowwf Report post Posted February 27, 2004 He has absolutely NO right to be there. Last time he left because he felt he wasn't being booked properly. (on a show where he was booked to outshine both Angle and Brock and which was completely about him.) He LEFT the company - left them high and dry. It wasn't a firing. I don't see how a person quits with no warning, and has a right to come back because they are missing out on something good. niko
Downhome 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2004 Hogan vs. Ric Flair, at their ages with very little build-up. Isn't that completely anti-climatic? Why would it need any buildup? Both their history together, the history of their respective careers, and the fact that it is their one and only match at a WrestleMania is all of the back story and buildup that you need. Guest Brian Report post Posted February 27, 2004 You're still coming after two careers that have dwindled on too long, gone past multiple retirements, and are generally past the point where a match like that would have real meaning. These are the same guys who were on top of the world, gunning for the world title. It isn't even two guys in the twilights of their career; they passed that two retirements a piece ago. It wouldn't do any justice to what these guys were.

It wouldn't do any justice to what these guys were. It would just be a legends match, and people would mark out big time over them having a match at a WrestleMania finall. It wouldn't be a great match, it wouldn't be good, but for historic purposes and mark out value, it could be great. To me it would be a fitting end to both of their in ring careers, but that's just me.
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted February 27, 2004 If you take a gander at my post with the 3/1 Observer notes, you'll see that Flair isn't competing in the ring anytime soon. Oh, and by the way... Fuck Hulk Hogan. He needs to stay the fuck away from WM. Again, he is out for no one but himself and will only look to steal the thunder from guys like Angle, Guerrero, Benoit, Lesnar, and others who need to have the WM spotlight on them. Hogan's had his fair share of Mania spotlight. The shrivled up, orange piece of shit needs to concentrate more on trying to get his daughter to be the next Britney Spears than stealing heat from guys at WM. jester 0 Report post Posted February 28, 2004 To me it would be a fitting end to both of their in ring careers, but that's just me. Perhaps if it WAS their final match, I could agree with that. But it won't be. Hogan could be in a wheelchair and still insist he could be wrestling and going over people.
