Guest Aecas Report post Posted February 28, 2004 An image slowly fades into view, bobbing slightly as a man walks slowly down a long corridor. The shoes of the man squeak slightly on the floor as he walks, passing junctions and side corridors until finally he stops in front of a door. The words “Boiler Room” stenciled upon its surface along with several steam burn warning signs and the man now revealed as Ben Hardy turns towards the camera shaking his head slightly. “I hate this Gus… I hate having to go and get a word off of this guy… Do you think we get hazard pay out of this? We ought to… don’t you think so?” The camera moves slightly as Gus shrugs his shoulder non commitmently. “Thanks Gus you’re such a help…” Ben mutters to himself, holding his microphone loosely in one hand as both men and the camera stare at the warning signs on the door. Eventually Ben sighs and turns the door handle opening the door and stepping inside with Gus close behind him. Gus follows Ben into a hellish scene of boiling steam and humming machinery, everything lies shrouded in darkness as the camera slowly pans around the room, details hard to distinguish in the gloom. “Why the hell is it always so dark in these places.” Ben mutters to himself as the two man team treks on into the depths of the Boiler Room. It isn’t long before a pair of voices is heard over the machinery one male the other female, the camera arriving in time to hear the end of a story. “…and she left him with several fractures and a broken leg. The first and last time I took her ice skating.” The sound of female laughter is audible over the humming of the machinery before her voice is heard. “Sounds like a fun day out.” “Indeed it was, you should have been there when…” Aecas is cut off as he had Serena round a cluster of steam pipes and almost run over Ben Hardy, all four people pulling up short as the smile disappears from Aecas’ face. “And what are you doing here?” The giant asks Hardy quietly, his huge body shrouded by a long leather trenchcoat as he shoulders his ever present Scythe the SWF Hardcore Gamers Championship dangling from his other hand. “Ummm, well we wanted to ask you some questions about your fist challenger for the Hardcore Title.” Ben says holding the mic up towards Aecas’ face as he glances over at Serena who is cradling a Pot Plant, a Pot Plant nattily attired with a bow tie around the stem and a small barbed wire halo perched on its top leaf. Serena grins at Ben who smiles back nervously before turning his attention back to Aecas swallowing unconsciously as the giant simply stares at him for a few long moments before he nods once. “Well um…what do you think about your first challenger for the Hardcore Title?” “Impressive is the first word that springs to mind. Toxxic has had some very impressive victories so far, and I watched his match with Jacob with interest. Though he may not like the Hardcore environment as much as I do he’s proved he has the determination and the guts to see it through.” Aecas switches his gaze from Ben to the camera, his dead eyes staring into the lense and into the eyes of the viewers but his message is for one man only. “Toxxic. You talked to Ben about having equalizers to even the odds against me. That’s fine with me if you think you need them, so how about we have a ring full of equalizers?” Aecas grins suddenly, a grin with more teeth than humour about it as he leans a little closer to the camera. “Lets level the playing field shall we? Add a little more spice to the match? You and I will stand in a ring surrounded by 200 light tubes, and the ropes will be swathed in barbed wire. You’ll have all the equalizers you need and anything else you care to drag out from backstage or from the ring.” Aecas lowers his head slightly the grin stretching a little wider as he stares into the eyes of the viewers and the eyes of his opponent. “I admire you Toxxic. And I will tell you now, I’ve never taken an opponent lightly and you’re no exception. You defeated Jacob and now your committed to the fight whether you like Hardcore or not there’s no turning back now.” The Black Angel slowly leans back up before he gives the camera a wink the deaths head grin still in place. “Its been a very long time since I fought a fellow Brit. As you said its good to hear a familiar accent now and again. So at From the Fire lets give the fans a taste of good old fashioned British violence!” Aecas chuckles lightly as he looks back at Ben Hardy and slowly pushes the diminutive reporter to one side. “Now if you’ll excuse me Ben Serena and I have to go and get Reggie some plant food.” The Black Angel looks at the camera one last time. “Until we find ourselves facing one another in the ring Toxxic. You should ask yourself one thing. Are you crazy enough to prove me wrong?” Aecas grins one more time before he walks between Ben and Gus, Serena following him as the pair walk towards the boiler room exit and over the humming of the machinery a few snippets of a song are hears before they disappear. “Another day…..” “Another corpse….” “Another easily identi…”

Toxxic 0 Report post Posted February 29, 2004 Large helpings of death? Does a small helping of death still kill you, or just make you feel a bit ill? What about a medium-size helping? And how big are these helpings? Can I order an 8oz Death Steak? With chips and peas? Yes, I work in a pub. But only until thursday... Anyway - what's going on? Mutual respect? How does that work? Guest Aecas Report post Posted February 29, 2004 Thou shall not try and dissect the meaning of Death helpings! Mutural respect? After we destroy one another and the dust settles we can pick ourselves up and go and get a pint. Sounds good to me really.
