see this one pisses me off. Rings was quite deserving of the other technical awards, but the music was just blah. Realistically Elfman should win every year anyway.

I agree...The music really didn't seem special and it's getting to the point that I'm thinking the voters just checked off anytime they saw "Lord of the Ring: The Return of the King"
