Insane Bump Machine 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2004 Question: Why not nominate a horror flick for best makeup? I mean hell, from the clips I just saw, it takes 100x the work to do all the makeup for a horror flick. Plus over the years makeup jobs on horror sets have been pretty imaginative. I can't imagine another movie matching the work the makeup artists put into the LOTR films.

I still think the way Billy and others mention Sofia...they will try to make a big deal for a girl winning best picture... I think some voters look at LOTH and think most has to do with the special effects moreso then the director...

Are you trying to look stupid by spelling it wrong? Or is it a OMGLOL jab at a movie you dislike. If so, please tell me.

NoCalMike 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2004 There are some really bitter people in this thread, aren't there? Nice to see LOTR getting things. I'm not bitter, I thought ROTK was a good movie, but just that good. I didn't get caught up in this LOTR-fandom, OMG THE BEST MOVIE EVER, bullshit. I also don't think it was THE BEST movie of 2003, that's all.

Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2004 Last Samurai was great as far as art design, costumes, cinematography are concerned, but it wasn't as good as a film as Master & Commander.
