So who DOESN'T care about Foley/Orton

Anyone else think Foley looked like a chicken when he turned down Orton challenge? I mean he hates Orton so much that he turns down a one on one match. Yes I know why he did it but, Foley could have asked for a steel cage match. Or before WM Foley becames Jack and during WM Jack takes Batista and Flair in sneak attack with a steel chair so they would be to hurt to help Orton.

I really don't care about the feud at all. Foley's best days are way behind him and i have no desire to see a retired non-wrestler taking up tons of time, no matter how good he once was, and i don't care to see the WWE continue their half-assed mega push of Randy Orton. Of all the matches at Wrestlemania only the playboy shit interests me less.

All this feud has made me do is hate Foley and wish he would go back home to his hot wife and leave my screen. The feud is pathetic and painful to watch. Watching Foley having a interview war with Lex Luger Version 2 while drunk as a skunk Ric Flair bounces around like his blood alcohol level is going down and DAVE just kinda stands there is boring.

 

All it managed to do is show me that Rock still has energy and gives a damn when he DOES work while the rest of the guys on RAW look like they are going through the motions even on run-ins.

 

All this feud needs is Ricky Steamboat to pop up just so Flair can become more of a parody of himself than he already has become.

Page might be the only one...he stuck himself with Benoit, Raven and Kanyon for the better part of two years...was willing to job himself once in a while...willing to drop to mid-card/tags everyonce in a while as well.

In 1997 he was the first guy to say "stick it" to the nWo and deny their requests to join them. He was also booked to outsmart Hall and Nash a few weeks in a row on Nitro and on PPV. People weren't willing to trust Sting for a long time, yet they turned to DDP to save them for a good while.

 

For the latter part of 1998, Page worked in the Main Event scene with Hogan, while also taking Goldberg "to his limits" at Halloween Havoc, coming thisclose to beating him cleanly (Nash be damned). In fact, he was NOWHERE near the midcard, main eventing four PPV's in a row (Bash At The Beach - Halloween Havoc), while working a high-profile angle with Rodman, Malone AND Leno.

To stay on-topic, I'm REALLY growing weary of Foley being on my television screen. His appearances just don't "mean" anything anymore, to the point where I'm just wondering how his airtime could be put to better use (putting focus on Kane/Taker, Goldberg/Lesnar, HBK/Benoit/HHH, or any of the RAW-only matches).
