Least Deserving Wrestlemania Main Eventer?

HHH didn't deserve it in 2002 but he definatly did in 2000. Sarge didn't deserve it either, he was a washed up wrestler from the 70's who was givin a cheap heat gimmick used only to transition the belt from Warrior to Hogan. Big Show only got the spot cuz it was in his contract. You really can't say KKB because at the time Wrestlemania wasn't established as the mecca of pro wrestling, beside who else would they feed to Hogan? But above all I'd say Slaughter was the one who had the LEAST business headling.

My vote went to Sgt Slaughter. Being very over 8 years earlier means nothing. No one in the entire world could have any doubts about who was going over in that match.

 

It would've been justified to put him near the top of the card considering the gimmick but main eventing when Vince had Warrior/Hogan II on his hands and aiming for LA Memorial Coliseum doesn't look very smart in hindsight.

 

I would consider Big Show too but he didn't get the one-on-one main event that Slaughter got.

 

Sid was threatening enough key-fabe wise so I think he made more sense on top than Slaughter.

Bundy, easily. Just another Big Fat Heel for Hogan to squash.

I voted for Bundy . . . anyone could have been put in that slot at WM2 . . . Muraco, Funk, Savage, Adonis, ect. and it wouldn't have made a bit of difference and it probably would have been a better match.
