The next PPV is Backlash, and I think that would be too early for a THIRD title switch.

You may think it's too early, but you can bet that thought will not be entering the heads of any WWE bookers. It's not like the title can get devalued much further just by a couple of relatively speedy title changes, anyway.

Well, i've just been thinking, and I have two ways of making this match work:

1) Victoria has been carrying her knee injury since this time last year, so basically have Molly defeat her and injure her, which can let Victoria go off TV and get her surgery and return in a few months, so they can do the whole revenge angle sort of thing.

2) Have Molly lose, have Victoria cut a bit of Molly's hair (hell, they could even use extensions so Molly won't lose none of her real hair), then have someone run in and attack Victoria, for example, as much as she sucks, a run in where she destroys Victoria would do wonders for Shaniqua, or would make a great return for Gail Kim, or a great heel turn for Lita. That way, Molly has still adhered to the stipulation, but still keeps her hair and Victoria can move onto another (reasonably) hot feud straight away.

I know these probably aren't the best ideas, but they probably can't be any worse than what WWE has planned.

Well, smark booking logic would indicate that Vicky keeps the belt at Mania. Molly gets her head shaven (or at least cropped) and then disappears from the roster for months.

 

What? It's not like it's never been done before. According to WWE booking standards, Molly becomes useless everytime she's not the Champ.

 

However, I do like the second scenario DeathBecomesYou mentioned above. One can only hope that whoever's booking post-Mania has that kind of foresight.

Well, this whole angle is just starting to become a bit strange. Even though she's booked as a heel, Molly looks like the underdog for this match, consider...

1) Molly has never defeated Victoria on WWE TV.

2) She was pretty much forced into the match by Austin.

3) She could barely scrape past Lita without having to cheat, so she's not exactly being built up as a threat. Even with that win, she's lost almost every match she's been in for the last few months, so she hardly looks like she's going to end her losing streak at WM20.

While the point I mentioned before is probably the best idea, another one I heard at the forums of Molly's official site was interesting, say Molly does lose, but begs Victoria not to cut her hair, and Victoria agrees, on the condition that Molly has to do something for Victoria. Now knowing the McMahon's and WWE, this would go in a similar direction to something out of a porno movie, but lets say in exchange for Victoria's mercy, Molly had to be Victoria's slave? While it would be something that WWE would have to stick with to make work, the sight of the proud Molly having to grit her teeth and smile while being Victoria's lackey and doing the most lowly tasks would not only bring a bit of humour to the division, but would also help give both Molly and Victoria some much needed character depth too.
