Guest Dynamite Kido Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Nothing to really add here except: DAWN IS THE GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!!!! that is all.
Youth N Asia Posted March 8, 2004 Report Posted March 8, 2004 Nothing to really add here except: DAWN IS THE GREATEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME!!!!! that is all. Yeah, I'll 2nd that. I have Night and Day on DVD already, and I'll pick up Dawn tomorrow at work...then sell my copy when the multiple disk comes out
eiker_ir Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 i'll hold until the Uber DVD edition of Dawn comes out later this year. It will make that much more satisfying when i finally have it in my hands
Youth N Asia Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 Dawn is a movie I'll watch 2 or three times this year, so I won't mind getting it again
dubq Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 I already own two of the three on DVD. I'll be picking up Dawn today [hopefully]. I'm a collector, so I don't really mind owning both the regular edition of Dawn plus the three-disc that will be coming out.
Youth N Asia Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 Got Dawn this morning at work...and isn't Night the crapass remake in that set?
Guest El Satanico Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 Yes, It's the remake. There's nothing wrong with the remake, but the original should've been included in this.
dubq Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 Got Dawn this morning at work...and isn't Night the crapass remake in that set? The remake is actually really good. Just bought the Dawn release. Disappointed to see that the packaging didn't get the same treatment that last years Day release did.
Downhome Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 The ME verison of the original that is. What is going to be in the upcoming Dawn DVD set? I've heard it's going to be anywhere between a 2-5 disc set.
dubq Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 The ME verison of the original that is. Sorry, I'm half-asleep here. But "ME" version?
Youth N Asia Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 The Dawn set is 2-3 disks from what I hear
Downhome Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 The ME verison of the original that is. Sorry, I'm half-asleep here. But "ME" version? The Millennium Edition.
eiker_ir Posted March 9, 2004 Report Posted March 9, 2004 i beleive that is NOT the remake on that deal, is justo one of those crappy NOTLD dvds that every company does, Best Buy says it's the remake but they're wrong. By the way, i Love the freaking remake!
Guest El Satanico Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 I know it's the remake. I checked it all out, because I didn't recognize the cover art. There's no official word on what exactly will be in the Dawn boxset. The only thing we officially know is that it will include the theatrical cut and director's cut and that they're negotiating to use the Argento cut.

By the way, i Love the freaking remake! No, I'd say you're wrong. That IS the 1990 remake's DVD cover. In fact, I just saw it today at HMV when I was picking up the DAWN SE.
eiker_ir Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 this is the cover of the remake DVD, i have it. It's the only version of the remake on DVD. check out this thread in DVD Talk.com: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.ph...The+Living+Dead it's just one more of those crappy NOTLD dvds
dubq Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 Ahh, I stand corrected. At a fast glance on Best Buy's site it looked the same as the '90 cover. Apologies. Is there commentary on the 1990 DVD?
Youth N Asia Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 Never liked the remake...althought Tony Todd is the man
