Art Sandusky Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 DJ Mystic -- "Hey Raver." I like the little kiddie military drum and flute at the beginning, and the entire piece is nice and light-hearted. Kylie Minogue -- "Slow (Mantronix Mix)." Best remix I've come across so far. Kylie Minogue -- "Promises." The sleeper song on Body Language. Happy End -- "Kaze Wo Atsumete." Found this on the Lost in Translation soundtrack. A pleasant departure from a very depressing (but still very good) soundtrack.
Lord of The Curry Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 *Shakes fist* Damn you SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON! "In the event that something should go terribly wrong" by Everytime I Die "No Surprises" by Radiohead "I'm on fire" by Bruce Springsteen "Emporers Main Course" by Kid Koala.
Nevermortal Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 "Hexagram" - Deftones. I only like a few Deftones songs, so I guess I should add this to the list. The chorus part sounds...different. I'll leave it at that. "The Punk Song" - Avenue D. Trashy electroclash bitches singing about getting fucked and treated like shit. Uh. It's verrrrry trashy, go to their site now (http://www.avenued.com) and watch the video. Kotz knows of their greatness. "Back to the Worms" - Cryptopsy. Agent wasn't lying, Cryptopsy does get better with age. The drummer is ridiculously fast. "The Dirty Glass" - Dropkick Murphys. An amusing distraction. The dueling vocals are a nice touch.
razazteca Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 YEAH by Usher featuring Ludachris and Lil Jon.
Lord of The Curry Posted March 10, 2004 Report Posted March 10, 2004 "Yeah" is one of the worst songs ever. EVER.
razazteca Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 The worst song ever would be the recent one by Eamon. Lil Jon is on a mission to do a track or remix with every notable artist from Atlanta.
Kinetic Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 I've been listening to Bowie's Scary Monsters and Lou Reed's Berlin a lot recently. Honorable mention goes to the first five songs or so from John Cale's Fragments of a Rainy Season, although I wouldn't suggest paying any more than $6 for the album, especially if you're familiar with the studio versions of the Cale songs on there. "Dying on the Vine" is probably my favorite.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted March 11, 2004 Report Posted March 11, 2004 It's really pointless to even try to play brutal death metal anymore because of how good Cryptopsy is. I just bought Ween's The Pod because I realized I don't have any Ween, and hadn't really heard much. I like this quite a bit. Fuckin' wacky.
