Backlash Main Event Possibly Altered

Recommended Posts

Guest KJ Brackish

Well well well....the following is an exerpt from the PWTorch Newsletter that I recieve:

"Although there was talk about making Triple H vs. Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels a WrestleMania ladder matcn, those plans have been dropped. "It's WrestleMania and they don't need it," one observer commented. Although the original main event of Backlash was going to be Triple H vs. Chris Benoit, there is now talk of doing a three-way ladder match on that show instead..."

Take that for what it's worth. HBK getting another title shot or will Edge step up to the plate?!?

Take it easy....

The Torch reporters are just covering all of the bases they possibly can, so that they LOOK like a reputable source...

Meltzer said the Backlash main event would definitely be Benoit vs. HHH, and I'm believing Dave Meltzer more than I am Pro Wrestling "OVW is dead" Torch. And plus, HBK has a torn-ACL and needs it fixed. And I doubt he'd keep going for a PPV like Backlash (esp. when he's not winning).

Well HBK's not taking time off in April as the main event for the Monterrey, Mexico main event is HBK vs. Triple H in late April, so I'm not sure what that says about the future.

Why even have Benoit is the main event at Backlash at all?

He could curtain jerk with Test.

What he said.

Meltzer is about 95% accurate, so I'll trust him when he says it.
