More evidence of WWE reviving the ECW brand

Recommended Posts

1WrestlingShop.com - Deluxe Title Belts

A quick scan through the deluxe title belt section on 1WrestlingShop shows that WWE has begun manufacturing of replica ECW title belts. They have NOT done this with WCW title belts since the original stock ran out in 2001 and it does not look like they are going to again. The velvet cover for the bag has a large ECW logo, and two small logos of WWE and WrestleMania XX. Is this more evidence that Vince McMahon will indeed revive the ECW brand or just a happy coincidence?

Doesn't really prove much since you have a King of the Cage belt. The logo may have just been added recently since the WWE now owns the name and could possibly sue or something if it's not listed as a WWE product.

Possible but I don't think it proves anything just yet.

Plus the company has other problems and right now the last thing they need to do is open another brand. As much as they need a new brand, now is not the time to do it with the roster getting closer to chaos.

Guest I Got Banned for Sucking

The chances of Vince bringing back ECW and the chances of him reviving WCW are about a 1:9 ratio.

Judging by what I've heard.

I could smell an ECW revival. After seeing what just went down on SD, with ALL the stars turning on Heyman, I could totally see Heyman forming ECW as a rebel brand..

Heh, yeah.

I found this when I was looking up the Angle/Puder WON article to link in the One Night Stand '06 thread.
