Guest T0rrent Report post Posted March 23, 2004 Don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but this was listed on the WWE website. STATEMENT FROM MR. MCMAHON Earlier tonight, Paul Heyman - the former General Manager of SmackDown! - was drafted by RAW and subsequently quit. Therefore, due to the absence of a GM on SmackDown!, I have extended the trading deadline to 9 p.m. ET Tuesday, at which time a new GM of SmackDown! will be announced, and that new GM of SmackDown! will in fact announce all trades. Thank you. Guess we'll find out who the new GM is tommorow.
Guest I Got Banned for Sucking Report post Posted March 23, 2004 Who knows? It might work out as far as having a face General Manager again.

Guest BDC Report post Posted March 23, 2004 I don't think she ever did stick to one alignment. She'd flop back and forth from segment to segment.

Vince: The new General Manager of Smackdown will be...female luchadore La Voca!! *Stephanie comes out wearing a luchadore mask, Vince doesn't seem to notice who it is*
Dangerous A 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2004 I can't see Vince giving Steph the GM job on SD since he fired her 6 months ago from that same position. He can't be that dumb. Not only can I see him give Steph that position, but I can see him do it with no explanation. WWE doesn't give a shit about things like quality control or fans who may be able to remember things from 6 months ago.
haVoc 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2004 So Steph will return as GM, even though she was fired from that position and Heyman will bring back ECW even though Steph is supposed to own it? I really don't want to hate this draft. I think it will be good and the choices they made aren't as bad as some think. I liked RAW last night. But damnit, I want some of it to make some sense. AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2004 Steph and Vince will make up because she'll admit she LIKED it when he pimped her out. Steph will throw her ECW ownership in the garbage and Heyman will find it. There, problems solved.
