Anya 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2004 Well it finally comes out for US PS2 tomorrow. Who's going to be playing and who's already playing on PC? I'm buying it tomorrow or Wednesday. If there's enough interest maybe some of us could play together? I want to be a red mage.
Guest Skironox Report post Posted March 23, 2004 Good luck with trying to play with fellow smarks. Squenix basically assigns people to random servers when they first sign up for the game, and you're not allowed to choose a server you want until you reach level 30 ( I think...). And that costs money. What great Public Relations people Squenix is, eh? I want to play this eventually, but I hardly get about 5 hours a week to sit down and play video games these days. Maybe after this semester is over I'll plunk down my hundred simoleons and get this, cause it sure looks great, management issues aside. Red Mage looks like the best class for me too. The word on the net is theres an unbalanced proportion of fighters to magic users, so I don't want to contribute to the problem, and they're a good class to solo. Anya 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2004 Apparently you can get these passwords called Worldpasses to be on a server with a friend. At another forum(Gaming Age) everyone is on the Fairy server. I've got a worldpass to join them. If enough people wanted to play here we could decide on a server and get a bunch of passes. Sounds like it's a pain though. BX 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2004 I may pick this up, not sure though.
EricMM 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2004 For those who care, the world pass is a PWord that you put in when you create a new character to dictate which server you can get on. There's no sort of level requirement (you start over anew when you use one) and as far as I know, they last a week and can be used for five people. I don't know the cost per say, but if TSM start playing I'll give Square ten more bucks to let me play again I recommend PC tho, buying a HD for one game is retarded. Damaramu 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2004 Well I played for a while whenever it first came out on PC. But overall it's a boring game and I quit b/c I just couldn't stand the *Run around town for an hour. Kill things for an hour. Run around town for an hour before finally making it to your destination.*
Lightning Flik 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2004 But with a TSM Guild, it would make things a lot easier as we could band together to make life a lot easier for everyone who plays. I play AC2 and frankly, I enjoy my Guild because we do just that. You need help, and we do so. It would make life a lot easier.
