I went Abyss/Truth. The 6-man, I felt, was very boring, and the whole booking of it was confusing. Sure, I got why Kazarian and Williams teamed up, and why Kazarian turned on Williams...but the whole booking of the match just made it come off as something involving workers with less talent than all of those in there. Williams is nothing amazingly special in the ring, at least his TNA work, and the same can be said for Kazarian and Skipper. Red is just coming back off of a nearly year-long injury (and, amazingly, he moves just as good as he did pre-injury; no pun intended), and Jerry Lynn was the only one trying to hold the match together. As for Nosawa...fuck Nosawa. When he starts doing more than kicks, then maybe I'll dig him.

Abyss/Truth had workrate (Abyss has GREAT workrate, regardless of his size, and Truth is no slouch either), heat (the crowd was DIGGIN' the match), and a good finish that put both men over and made the angle of "who will face Jeff Jarrett in the steel cage?" all that much more important.

For the record, I gave Abyss/Truth ***, and I gave the 6-man **3/4.

I actually enjoyed the Franchise/xXx match a lot on second viewing. Crowd was totally into Daniels/Ki and the match had a good pace to it and wasn't really rushed.

Damn Double Post.

Anyway, to use this post for something other than that, I'll say I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks Petey Williams ain't shit as far as his TNA work is concerned. And the mock HBK "tuning up the band" is INCREDIBLY gay.
