JoeDirt 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2004 Er....I didn't see the ugliness of that match.... Sure, Van Dam didn't sell the leg like he should have. But besides that, where was the problem? He looked more motivated here than he has been in months. I thought he did just fine in a TV match against a guy that barely wrestles any singles matches, and has only been in WWE for a little more than a year. Am I missing something here? I just thought they looked a little tentative/sloppy, that's all. It wasn't awful by any means.
The Amazing Rando 0 Report post Posted March 26, 2004 does this mean RVD loses the fivestar because of Eddy? If so...The Split Legged Moonsault needs to be the new finisher. I think i'll stick with my earlier comments... make him a submissionist. His finisher will be no-selling everything till the opponent gives up.

No. That move doesn't look like it could beat me. then it's time to bring back the Van Daminator then...Unless they want RVD to create another finisher for shane to steal

Am I missing something here? agreed, he looked a bit rejuvenated. And like I said about the leg selling, how is someone supposed to be selling a leg shot all match, when his entire offense is based of his legs? Think about it. Should he just be limping the whole match, and throwing those weak punches? Yeah, that would make for an exciting match guys.

I just thought they looked a little tentative/sloppy, that's all. It wasn't awful by any means. Well, yeah. I would think they would be a little tentative. This was the first time Van Dam and Haas were in the ring together. And, on Raw, RVD wasn't used to wrestling this somewhat technical style anyway. Besides Ric Flair and occasionally Triple H, it was mostly power wrestlers that he faced. It could take some time to get used to the different style of wrestling on Smackdown.
