Vyce 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2004 I see I shan't be able to sway anyone about Hulk. But what about predictions, huh? I threw out one for next week (Hellboy coming in at #2 with around 18 mill, behind Scooby Doo still at #1). Anyone else have predictions as to what the figures for next weekend will be? Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2004 I don't know about Scooby Doo being #1 again. I expect it to have a big drop off
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 29, 2004 Hellboy 26 million Scooby 19 million Walking Tall 15 million Home on The Range 12 million The Passion and The Christ 9 million
Mole 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2004 Eh, Walking Tall will be under $10 million.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 29, 2004 Rundown made 18 million opening weekend, so I don't see Walking Tall dropping off half. Christopher Walken and Sean William Scott don't have that much of a box office impact. Perhaps 15 is alittle high, but it should be above 10.

Christopher Walken and Sean William Scott don't have that much of a box office impact. Perhaps 15 is alittle high, but it should be above 10. Actually, Sean William Scott does have a box office impact. He kills it. Him as one of the "stars" on your poster is a death sentence. Walking Tall will do 12 million, beating out the Passion which will pull in 11.3, Hellboy will grab 20 million maybe 25 and Scooby will drop to third with 13.4 Jersey Girl will grab 6.5 and LadyKillers will hook 10.5. And "The Prince and Me" will run off with a shocking 21 million So it'll be 1. Hellboy 2. The Prince and Me 3. Scooby Doo 2 4. Walking Tall 5. The Passion 6. LadyKillers 7. Home on the Range 8. Dawn of the Dead 9. Jersey Girl 10. Starsky and Hutch
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2004 The Prince and Me my ass. 5th place finish. I think Home on The Range will do well. Disney's last few animated movies didn't seem to get a ton of advertisement but did very well
Guest NaturalBornThriller4:20 Report post Posted March 30, 2004 21 Million ? NO. Next week: 1. Hellboy (Bleh) 2. Scooby Doo 2 3. Walking Tall 4. The Prince And Me 5. The Passion Of The Christ Hopefully Jersey Girl makes another nice chunk of change. Yes, I want the movie to do well. Home On The Range ? BOMB. 1. Doesn't look interesting, what's the plot ? 2. I haven't seen promotion for it. But it's a kiddie movie, so who knows...
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted March 30, 2004 1. Hellboy (Bleh) Hellboy > a great majority of the crap you talk about seeing at the theater, so get the hell out of here with that.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2004 Sorry, but the young girls seem to love the Princess bs and they love Julia Stiles. Remember that crappy "Save the Last Dance" and "The Princess Diaries" with Anne Hathaway? Did ANYONE really expect those damn movies to do good at the box office?? Some guys will be dragged to "The Prince and Me" and it is the damn sleeper. Never underestimate the power of the female and her horny boyfriend. Hope I'm wrong though cause the thought of more Julia movies is scary.

Eh, I see what I see because I want to see it. Hellboy doesn't interest me, my opinion. Half of the "Crap" I see in theatres, you've probably haven't seen. Therefore, it doesn't matter what you think. So... you get the hell out of here with that, Joe Bob Briggs... And 21 Million ? It's just not happening.
