THE BATMOBILE

You know it doesn't get good miles-to-the-gallon.

It fits with what the movie is trying to do.

In the movie, the Batmobile is Wayne Enterprises' prototype Tumbler Tank, so to everyone saying "It looks like a tank"...well, you were onto something. I like it. I would have hated to have a Batmobile in the same vein as the other four movies, just because this one has to be the way it is.

wait a minute....it's a Wayne Enterprise prototype?

Wouldn't that mean people at Wayne Enterprises who have seen the prototype would then KNOW someone within the company was Batman??

Now, I'm intrigued

In the comics, nobody believes Batman even exists till around the time he joins the JLA. He's considered by most to merely be an "urban legend."

I can see how that's possible, getting around in this inconspicuous little number...

No one gets a picture of it though. Especially with it being "jet powered" and all.

Alright, they've been filming for about a month and release these, so how long until we see Bale in costume? I'm looking forward to seeing him pumped up, since the first time he tried it on, he supposedly ripped the damn costume with his new muscles.

I like the Batmobile it reminds me of the GTO in the new Punisher movie.

One thing that boggles my mind is how the hell Batman is going to get in and out of that thing.

Reports say WB will release a pic sometime in the summer.

As for the Batmobile, I think it's fine for what Nolan is aiming for.

The pictures aren't good enough to see possible entry points. It's probably some sort of cockpit that opens from the top.

I've heard Bale is around 230 for this movie. He was like 190 in American Psycho, so I'm sure he's ripped. He has gained something like 70 pounds for the part since he was so skinny for his work in the Machinest(he was anorexic level for the role).
