BX Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Excuse me? You've allowed others to change the picks made in their absense, provided they did so before the next pick was made. Clearly, I did this.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 (Rant wanted me to keep it going so he PMed me his pick...) With the twenty-third pick in the 2004 TSM NFL Mock Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select Marcus Tubbs -- Defensive Tackle -- University of Texas
Guest Flyboy Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Excuse me? You've allowed others to change the picks made in their absense, provided they did so before the next pick was made. Clearly, I did this. The first pick was changed because it was SECONDS after I had picked... you were hours late.
BX Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I'm sorry, I've been waiting for this for a day now. Leave it to my sister to get a flat on the other end of the county though.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 It's okay, bro. I understand. But, I seriously think Robinson would be a much more realistic pick for Dallas if he was there. If he falls in Dallas' lap in the real draft (which he won't, but still...), they would draft him over Clarett in a blink.
BX Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Good thing I didn't draft Bob Dole like I wanted to.
CanadianChris Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 With the twenty-fourth pick in the 2004 TSM NFL Mock Draft, the Denver Broncos select: Will Poole, cornerback, USC Trading for standout cornerback Champ Bailey was a start, but Denver still has concerns in their secondary. Poole does not have as much college experience as some would like, but he clearly showed skills that could see him start at cornerback for Denver this year. Poole was an integral contributor to USC's national championship season, and had his best game when it mattered most: in the Rose Bowl against Michigan, making 10 tackles and two sacks, and forcing a fumble.
Kahran Ramsus Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 With the twenty-fifth pick in the 2004 TSM NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers select: Darnell Dockett, Defensive Tackle, FSU Darnell Dockett is a playmaking type DT, similar to Tommie Harris. He's a little bit undersized, but he makes up for it with his motor and speed. Despite his size, he's a player in the run game as well as the pass rush. He's got the frame to put on a few pounds, but he'll most likely stay at his current weight and specialize in playing the 1-gap, pass rushing position next to a large space-eating nose tackle like Vince Wilfork.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I guess Dallas is sticking with Robinson, then. The Rams (Prime Time Andrew Doyle) are on the clock and have until 11:00 AM CT to make their pick.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 *sits in the draft room with HarleyQuinn now* ~!
Prime Time Andrew Doyle Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 With the 26th pick in the TSM Mock Draft, the St. Louis Rams are proud to select Antwan Odom One of the most underrated defensive linemen in the country … A player who displays all the qualities of Crimson Tide standouts from the past; the power of a John Copeland, the quickness of an Eric Curry and the lateral agility of a Marty Lyons … The recipient of the team's Dwight Stephenson Most Valuable Lineman Award, Odom appeared in 39 games during his Crimson Tide career, registering 98 tackles (63 solos) with 21 sacks for minus-141 yards, 26½ stops for losses of 165 yards and 40 quarterback pressures … Only Eric Curry (22½, 1990-92) and Derrick Thomas (52, 1985-88) had more sacks in a career for Alabama … Also had four forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, five pass deflections and a pair of blocked kicks. It is expected that he will replace the departed Grant Winstrom

BX Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I guess Dallas is sticking with Robinson, then. Uh, what?
Guest Flyboy Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 The Titans (Gert T) are on the clock and have until 12:00 PM CT to make his pick.
Guest Flyboy Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I guess Dallas is sticking with Robinson, then. Uh, what? As their pick, that is.
BX Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Fine, Mr. Jiggy Fly. I'll take Robinson. But Dallas will take a RB in the first round in two weeks. Either that, or they'll trade for someone like Dillon. Either way, they're going after running talent.
Guest FrigidSoul Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 If both Stephen Jackson and Kevin Jones are gone by the time Dallas gets to pick then I feel they'll just wait until round 2 and grab a Greg Jones or Claurett. Not to mention Claurett may not even be elligble come two weeks from now
Guest Flyboy Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 But Dallas will take a RB in the first round in two weeks. Either that, or they'll trade for someone like Dillon. Depends if Steven Jackson if taken by Detriot or not.. if they don't, NE takes Jackson and Dallas takes Kevin Jones. If Detriot DOES take Jackson, then Dallas will probably take Shawn Andrews and get a RB in the second round.
Fökai Posted April 8, 2004 Author Report Posted April 8, 2004 Draft results are continuously updated on the first page. Second round draft order will be posted later tomorrow (Thursday), to allow for a seamless transition.
Gert T Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I will have my Titans' pick up within the hour.
Gert T Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Well I still am having a tough time at being technological, so no picture. With the 27th overall selcetion, the Tennessee Titans select: Vince Wilfork, DT Miami (FL) Tennessee is having a tough time with the salary cap right now, so they are probably in a "best player available" scenario. After losing DE Jevon Kearse and DT Robaire Smith this off-season, Wilfork will step in and help immediately, as long as he can keep his weight in check. Along with Albert Haynesworth, Wilfork should be able to plug up the middle, giving a little more freedom for the LB's.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Bah Gert I was praying somehow Vince would free fall to the Texans in the second round. Ah well c'est la vie. Still a deep draft for DL I'll have to start scouring the scouting reports.
the pinjockey Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 ::the Eagles GM starts to walk to the podium, suddenly veers off to kick Gert right in the junk, heads back to the podium:: With the 28th selection in the 2004 TSM Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles proudly select out of Auburn......Karlos Dansby, LB When Wilfork left the board he was the only player of insane value left that would prevent the Eagles from filling a dire need. At 6-3, 250 pounds Dansby gives the Eagles a LB with some size behind him, in their rotation of smaller LBs.
the pinjockey Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 Final four of the round 29. Indianapolis Colts - Flyboy 30. Kansas City Chiefs - Verne Gagne 31. Carolina Panthers - BX 32. New England Patriots - HarleyQuinn
Guest Flyboy Posted April 8, 2004 Report Posted April 8, 2004 I hate you, pinjockey. With the twenty-ninth pick in the 2004 TSM NFL Mock Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select... Matt Ware -- Safety/Cornerback -- UCLA
